who is watching SCANDAL?

Back the fuck up off my baby mama Keone. :hmm:

Shit is fire though. And if I'm thinking right it's the only show in prime time with a black lead? :dunno:

That last episode dropped my jaw. I can't wait for the next episode. In retrospect, it was fairly predictable but I'm looking forward to seeing where it will go.

btw if i was you i would do a DNA test

Started watching this with my wife last night on Netflix. Good show but Washingtons role is distracting. Not her character, perhaps it's her acting. She isn't believable in the role and it just doesn't come off as "real." Also, the "new"girl reminds me of the idiot blonde chick from Newsroom. It's a tried and true yet tiring plot device of having the new "fish out of water" character who is learning the ropes, but her character is annoying. Good writing, but the pretentious witty fast speak gets old very quickly. That and the slow motion shots of Washington turning to the camera and walking away after "taking care of business" is a little corny.

I got a lot of women on my timeline frustrated as fuck about Scandal last night.

**SPOILER ALERT**

As they were doing all those reminiscing in the past scenes with Olivia remembering shit her and Fitz use to do, mad sistas on FB and twitter were talking about how they were crying for her. I couldn't believe that shit. You're crying for the mistress. So I said, "If the First Lady was black, and Olivia was white, none of yall would be crying. In fact, you'd fucking hate the show." Mad crickets over that shit.

Aside from that... shit just got real with my nigga Huck.

I said pretty much the same shit to my girl and she was quiet as fuck too.

every black woman in america must watch this show...

SPOILER ALERT*************

I don't know how Huck is gonna get out of this shit. If he goes I don't think I could watch the show.

homie was looking like a caveman tho:lol::lol:

I realize this must have a woman as the lead writer - the dudes act like str8 bitches: president pining, whining and crying for this chick...the chick's new boyfriend acting like a chick. WTF. I don't know any dudes that act that way.

I knew Huck was the shooter..bet he got that order from short-wave radio. Somebody is still in control of those CIA operatives.
edit: wrong on the Hawk/Huck angle. BUT, how can a dude with his skill not realize that his phone might be bugged. The moment I discovered ole girl's hidden room, everything about her or connected to her is tainted, especially the cell phone. How can he be so good one minute but so awful the next.

Also, that dude is right, the Southern sounding cowboy, when you're in for a penny, you're in for a pound. Should have let the chick rot in jail. Sometime, u gotta kill people to move fwd. Them two brawds in Olivia's office are liabilities. If that were real life and I was in charge...:itsawrap: for those two.

I want to like this show and I actually do, but the writing is too estrogen filled. Huck, dude was an interesting character, but lately, his character is getting corny. Perhaps it's the actors delivery and speech patterns for the character, but dude is getting annoying. They need to tone his character down a bit.

Also, whatever happened to the brotha Olivia was fucking? President get's shot and all of a sudden dude is completely forgotten. Damn.

glad I'm not the only one who noticed that.

I wonder if Huck will be able to off this broad? And when Harrison tried to hold Huck at the place...

thats the thing tho...huck got issues. dude has serious problems, he's just been finding a way to deal with em. he finally had a girl he thought he could trust and that shit fucked him up. he didn't want to let go. i think his character is pretty compelling. :dunno:

Predictable in which way? You saw it coming, that Olivia was involved in rigging the Presidency? I don't mean once they started revealing that storyline, but I've watched from show 1 and they made her character out to be someone that wouldn't be involved with something like that. She may lie & help people out of some crazy shit, but rigging votes is on another level.

Oh, yeah...they need to change the name of this board, from bgol..to Ionlywatchitbecauseofmywife.com

The wife and some of her women friends started watching this show "again" from season one. Shes was a little disappointed that I couldn't get into the show! I apologized and said, when the main character is portrayed as being so powerful that ALL government entities: covert, rouge etc are terrified of her I can't possibly take it seriously.

watching the 6th episode right now. its good. This season is better than last. Sometimes the whole fast-talking gets annoying.

They be even having Huck doing fast talking now....I hate it, it's like they're talking fast to keep you from realizing the plot is baloney
Season 1 was better...

PS: I want Huck to knock off the noobie white chick...She ask too many questions, she gotta go

come on Huck :gun04: :flyingkiss:

How exactly did you see it this way?

that episode when she got a south american military dicatator to give up his kids with some bullshit threat about how she would be there to help his wife if she wrote a memoir I had to shake my head

In he real world she would have been laughed at for even trying a bullshit tactic like that

The part about the possible theft of an election is the more interesting storyline

Yeah, that was a "jumped the shark" moment for me too. :smh:
