I think that's b.s. whoopi goldberg, cicely tyson, pam grier, angela bassett, gabrielle union, nia long, regina king,etc. aren't light skinned and except for whoopi were considered beauties in their day. they have had longer and more successful careers than , rae dawn chong, vanity, etc.

I used to think whoppi was attractive when I was in my early teens and caught hell for it. I never thought she was as ugly as other people made her out to be. I mean she's no Angela Bassett but if she were truly unattractive she wouldn't even be on camera.
