Cerberus sucks ass, real security? plus you have to pay for it.. the BEST security suite, that is FREE, and that has shit load of features that others charge you for is Avast Mobile Security.. It's lean, fast, virus scanner, all the features of cerberus and Lookout mobile security, PLUS, ton's more. If your rooted, it has a built in firewall that works awesome.. Guess i got some comparing to do.
My droid Bionic had zumocast on it and it would play any file format that i streamed to my phone using the stock android player. I can record a video on my SG3 and then put the vid on my computer, then when i try to stream it back to my phone using allshare, dlna, zumocast, etc... it will say "video can't be played". Like i said it streams music and pics with no problem but won't do videos

so far, i think the website for Cerberus is better. It has more options. Also, i like the feature in cerberus where if someone puts in the wrong code on the phone, it will take a pic of them. Not sure if Avast can do that. I will look into it some more when i get home.
I see Cerberus in the play store that was a free version, is that the correct one?

Yeah, this phone also sends all my text and email messages to my car so that I can read it on my navigation screen and it also reads it to me. The iPhone was not able to do that. That shit shocked me this morning

The answer is two fold... If you download "cracked" apps from here or elsewhere, then YES, you need something like Avast Mobile on your phone.. If you will ONLY use the official Google Play store, to download/buy your apps, then no.. you have better luck of catching aids from some bitch you meet, then catching a bad malware download from the Play store.. Up to you.. You can also use the app as a locator if you ever have your phone lost or stolen...

This is not true at all for SGS3. I have mp4, avi and mkv on my phone and they all play fine. They are in a folder on external called media then in a folder labeled video.

Nothing wrong with paying for an app. I usually will breakdown and pay for apps that I use the most. I like the updates. Games? I rarely buy them lol.

But really my only problem with it is the form factor and the cheap feeling button. It's not as easy to hold as the Iphone but that's why the iPhone has that miserable screen.
True, I think the only game I ever paid for was words w/friends when it first came out, but other than that I haven't.
I know right before I switched they had a GEMS w/friends on the iphone, but not on android yet, but I guess it will be soon. It was a pretty cool game.
