never understood the point for the purple on those.

With the exception of the Olyimpic VII's all of the VII's came in questionable coloways. I like the Bourdeux's but what jersey did they match? It's like Nike forgot that the shoes were there to match Jordan's jerseys. I guess they were just experimenting with colors.
