When is your show coming back

Re: The Official " Breaking Bad Season 5 " thread

Now I am interested in how they will bring it back next year!

they usually start all the seasons right were it left off. So it should be Hank returning to the pool area acting awkward as hell. Probably questioning Walt about Gayle.

Some of yall been too critical on this show. Remember these last seasons were filmed at once with the intent of being a full season with a break. I wouldn't really consider these 8 episodes a season until the next 8 air. Its AMC's marketing treating it as two entirely two seasons. They usually do a lot of flashbacks to explain on how things happened. The one of how Brock getting poison better be explained by the end of the show. It should be used for the fall of Walt and Jesse's relationship.

And hopefully we dont have to wait long. It should start right back in January or when Walking Dead goes on break.

AMC has announced that Breaking Bad season 5 will premiere Sunday, July 15 @10pm. Additionally, it was also announced that the final chapter of the series will conclude a year later, beginning summer 2013.

Re: The Official " Breaking Bad Season 5 " thread

Apparently according to the official podcast

He had seconds to escape, because the perimeter they were setting up was just starting to form. He didn't leave his granddaughter he took her and dropped her off :hmm:

That whole sequence was sort of sloppy and seemed hastily done :smh:
Honestly, i didnt have a problem with Mikes escape from the park util you just explained it. I was perfectly fine surmising that as a veteran cop, military guy, hitman, and security guy behind a complex major drug operation that he would have the skillset and intelligence to outwit fucking beatcops in a suburban neighborhood. And i also understand cranrabs concern about him leaving the child but it must be understood that this man is a hardened criminal with a built in survival instinct and his leaving was not an abandonment of the child (considering he is not the sole caretaker) but a means to guarantee his freedom and possible means of providing her in some capacity in the future.

The viewer was supposed to realize all of this, but if you were a viewer that whole scene wouldn't fit with how the show and characters history.

They didn't speak on it possibly being editing to fit the 42 minutes.

That was an important sequence, and they blew it.

That whole scene, I expected better from Breaking Bad. That was a C Level show move.
Yea, if we were to believe that he grabbed his daughter under those circumstances then i have a problem with that.

What kind of watch is that

Re: The Official " Breaking Bad Season 5 " thread

boy..walt keeps him a vial of ricin..don't he??

i'm thinkin' lydia is gonna wind up bein' pivotal in walt's downfall...she's too fidgety ... she might get him mercked or turn state's evidence... but she's gonna fuck him over some kinda way...

she shoulda been dead several times this season...but the writers keep keepin' her alive...

i'm glad he kicked jesse down his 5 mill...jesse put in work..and kept his mouth shut ..even when it looked like walt was gonna stiff him on his cut...he earned that money...

it would be cool to see jesse somehow make it out of next season unscathed...but i think that's jus wishful thinkin'...

I think Jessie will be the 1 person who makes it out unscathed . All he has to do is leave, no one is looking for him he is completely off the radar

Re: The Official " Breaking Bad Season 5 " thread

i think the show is havin' to shorten up scenes..because they only got 8 episodes this year..and next year ..instead of 12 or 13...

the writers of the show have already mapped out how the show is gonna end...but when you've planned for 13 episodes and the network tells you you only get 8...that's 5 hours of show you gotta cut out...

He was talking about had to kill the 9guys in jail (and the lawyer). Jesse is under the impression that Mike got away.

As you can see he was handling stuff with the phone. He could have called his daughter to come to park to grab the grand daughter amd bounce.

Re: The Official " Breaking Bad Season 5 " thread

You can really tell that they're trying to condense the story, and rush it along..

This show could have EASILY went on for another 2 seasons.. Sad to see such a great show get this treatment.

The funny thing is that i think it was just the opposite. I seem to remember reading that they initially wanted one season with a two hour finale and the networks basically went for the money grab and wanted to draw the shit out for two more seasons. So instead of one 13episode season with a two hour finale they broke it (and actually stretched it) into two 8ep seasons. We are essentially seeing one seasons worth of writing drawn out for two years so AMC can milk the money cow one more year. This would explain why this "season finale" was largely uneventful.

AMC has to make room for bgol's fav show

Re: The Official " Breaking Bad Season 5 " thread

Was walt jr. pushing his little sister around in the toy car foreshadowing something? A few of you on here have said that maybe walt jr. dies, and it's in a car accident. Maybe he has his sister in the car with him. :dunno:

Anyway, that book was brought up last season or the one prior to that (I forgot). No jumping the shark going on here, it's just the show making clear that "little" things briefly brought up before do come into play later on. Great writing, and I am super amped for next year. This show continues to not repeat itself and stay consistently the best TV drama (after The Wire).

Curious, what are you basing that on? Every show could be drawn out to longer, but then you'll end up getting a Walking Dead-ish situation where they have 3 or 4 episodes of a conflict that really needed just 2. Considering we still have another half of a season that we have no idea what's going to happen (lots of speculation in all sorts of directions), might be wise to just see how things play out and then break it down.

that prison hit must have cost walt a grip

I'm basing it on how quickly certain ends are tied up and how fast certain aspects of the story develop... For example, they could have gotten an entire season out of Walt's expansion to the Czech republic, but that shit was reduced to a montage of Meth being stored in barrels, and thrown on an Airplane..

:smh: That show is a waste of money.

That's the worse part they had to jump a shark in character development cause AMC wants to push a crappy show also that Mall cop show the is trash too.

Ah ok. I see what you're saying. I guess, considering the quality of this season thus far, I don't mind how things were "rushed." But my feeling could possibly end up negated if the second half of the season doesn't have anything relevant to tell (which is doubtful).
