Breaking Bad *series finale 9/29/2013

Re: The Official " Breaking Bad Season 5 " thread

The viewer was supposed to realize all of this, but if you were a viewer that whole scene wouldn't fit with how the show and characters history.

They didn't speak on it possibly being editing to fit the 42 minutes.

That was an important sequence, and they blew it.

That whole scene, I expected better from Breaking Bad. That was a C Level show move.

Re: The Official " Breaking Bad Season 5 " thread

people are complaining about this season and its not even over.

And whoever said "This season can easily be forgotten"... Yeah, cool story bro.

Re: The Official " Breaking Bad Season 5 " thread

This....

It was bullshit. Mike loved his Granddaughter more then life itself. His granddaughter was the most important person in his life. His granddaughter was the reason he was in the game and now leaving the game. I don't believe there is anyway in hell Mike (if he were real) would leave his granddaughter at that park ALONE, just so he could save his own ass and escape. Hell, the writers had Mike leaving his granddaughter at that park without even a quiver or giving it a second thought. :smh:

There was a second thought. He can't do any good to her getting locked up, or getting arrested in front of her. The cops and dea knew where he was, they knew who his granddaughter was. She couldn't be in a safer location honestly.

When you face that kind of trouble, people can act out of character.

It's real easy to talk about the writing nd come up with "better" ideas when you're not in that room writing the show and you're sitting at home judging after the fact.

Mike was taking a bunch of half measures. Characters change. People change. No one is stuck as who they are. Their core remains, but events can change the way someone operates. Also, mike was part of a very smooth, well run operation. Now he's making adjustments and changes on the fly.

interestingly enough, that episode ran LONG.

i don't listen to BB podcasts, but i did read a couple interviews that confirmed that they have been rushing through a lot of material this season to condense everything for the final season.

looking back over the past few episodes with that in mind, it's easy to see why so many of us have this sense of "lazy" writing or "sloppy" work. because it's simply true.

Re: The Official " Breaking Bad Season 5 " thread

it goes back even to the revisitation of walt's "lily of the valley" con job on jesse.

they "cleared up" part of the story with the "reveal" that saul's sleep-standing bodyguard is an accomplished pickpocket with a soft touch.

but still failed to offer an explanation of how (and when) walt had the opportunity to introduce the flower to the child.

Re: The Official " Breaking Bad Season 5 " thread

I just hope that Walter isn't keeping Jesse as a partner just to be the fall guy.
I got a bad feeling about it.
:scared:

And it sort of needed to be explained due to him and the kids awkward scene together.

That's why people comparing it to The Wire :smh:

Sal did it actually. If you noticed whenever he visited the mother of the child to give her money from Jesse he would give the kid a jelly rancher and the kid would gobble it up. Well the candy was laced with the toxin from the flower.

Re: The Official " Breaking Bad Season 5 " thread

Season 4 was the best

Maybe you and Deltronz should have a talk...from the season 4 thread

This is the worst season of breaking bad

I don't know maybe is because this is the first time im watching it live and not back to back right away

But these new episodes seem like fillers in a classic album

Re: The Official " Breaking Bad Season 5 " thread

Re: The Official " Breaking Bad Season 5 " thread

This half a Season sucks, and the writing sucks this Season...

I literally laughed out loud during that "Say My Name!" scene, and I'm not sure if that was the intent.. It was cheesy as hell..

Loved this show since Episode ONE, but I hope they come harder next year..
