BUT... back to Amar'e... I think Amar'e AND 'MELO for that matter are quite misunderstood... These dudes are NOT STEPHON MARBURY TYPE OF DUDES...
Dudes that are more hung up on BEING THE MAN then team success... I believe that they want to win... NO MATTER WHAT... BUT I do believe that Amare's health is a BIG factor in the success of next season... I think that extra muscle he put on HURT him more than helped him... BUT I also will NEVER underestimate Amar'e either... I mean, let's think about it... When he had his knee injury, he wasn't suppose to come back and be effective... and he proved everybody wrong... When he had his eye injury, he wasn't supposed to come back and be effective... and he proved everybody wrong... When he came to NYC, it was thought that his production was totally because of Steve Nash's play... and he proved everybody wrong... That is why I will NEVER underestimate Amar'e... PLUS... He is something that I haven't seen in a Knicks uniform since the Pat Ewing days... HE'S A BIG MAN... WITH HEART!!!... And it's been quite some time since we've had a BIG MAN WITH HEART...
But that doesn't cancel out Chandler...
If anything... It complements Chandler...

The only thing i can think of is that since we have isolation players in Amare and Melo...We are going to need a lot of ppl to rebound I'm not really sure why we made this trade...So far this roster isn't shaping up too well IMO.

I agree. Kidd will play in 14 games before missing 57 strait. Camby will miss at least 30-37 games. Shit is ridiculous.

i don't think it's a bad trade if the knicks do have some idea of what the teams identity will be...I will say one thing about Camby though...he is an above average passer from the high post area. I'm curious to see what else the knicks do

Actually,, yes, we are better than we were last year, and if anything remains to be seen it's if your knicks will be able to limp through an entire season... Your offense is still beholding to Melo's ISO happy ass, no way in hell your guards match up at all with any of the above average guards in the league (If Lin pans out you may have a chance, but if you have to rely too much on old ass Kidd forgetaboutit!!!) And the difference is, we are building around young talent, cultivating chemistry, etc. while you are basically taking on players that most teams don't even want, used up ass Dude's holding on to whatever 'glory' they can still drum up... putting together misfit old ass parts, to wrap around the LeBron-lite 'we have to make a move since LeBron told us to kiss his ass' dumb ass signing of Melo... When if you'd kept the pre-Melo team together, and added quality pieces, you would have been a MUCH better team now without him!!! Amare was playing like a fucking BEAST before Melo, once you pick up his ball hogging ass, Amare turns into Robin Lopez...
