Dwight Howard says the Magic Blackmailed him

If Dwight wants a chance at a title, he should go out West. The Nets are a guaranteed first round exit for at least the next 5 years..

:lol::lol:

if he wanted a title he wouldn't had list the nets at all. He doesn't even want to considered Chi or LA

see this is what CB and SAS just said.

Dwight has nearly become untradable.

Lakers won't trade for him because he could leave in the summer same as Chicago. The more Dwight says "I just want the Nets." The more other teams will walk away or offer a shitty offer.

See Dwight is fucking Orlando.

He wants Orlando to play fair but he won't play fair.

If I'm Orlando I hold on to him all season and fuck with his money.

But then he's on their books and fucks up their season.. Then the Nets don't have any assets to offer right now because more than half of their team are Free Agents..

That goofy bastard would still look good in gold & purple.

Head case for head case trade , gray haired Bynum for Christian babymaker Howard. He did damage in the southeast, he play in LA for a few seasons. It's going to be all kinds of goofy 6ft tall 5th graders roaming around in about 10 years.

Man fuck Howard as a Laker fan.....This baby boy ass nigga ain't built to be a Laker. He not fucking with title town because it's to much pressure. As much as niggas bash Kobe about being a chucker at least he never ducks the pressure. Dudes like Howard ain't ready for the big stage. I'd rather keep Bynum, has wayyyy more post skills and at least he has contributed to at least 1 ring even on one leg.....He already said he doesn't want to be in L.A. so fuck'em

Real shit.

Orlando shouldn't trade him. Make his punk ass suffer for what he's put them through

who suffers more in that scenario?

orlando already lost.
they had the power last year this year they have none. he won't stay with whoever they trade him to so the teams aren't going to give it up like they would have.

might as well keep him, and only play him for 1 minute in the 3rd quarter the entire season, regardless of the score
that way he gets time on the court and can't go to the union or anywhere else like he could if they deactivated him

i would like to see orlando trade dwight howard to minnesota for michael beasley, jj barea and darko milicic.

he won't stay with whoever they trade him to so the teams aren't going to give it up like they would have.

that's ok. better than doing a marcus allen with him.

fans would suffer. teammates would suffer.

i'd trade him to golden state for richard jefferson and andris biedrins.

They should make it to where you have to play a minimum of 2 years with whatever team you're traded to. The system still needs a balance of power.

if they're expiring contracts then im not mad at that one.

howard had his chance, he folded now wants to buck and its too late

nah, your contract is your contract can't tack on years cause you get traded.

I'd say add a year at the least.. They wasted all that damn time reworking the CBA to fix shit like this and the players STILL have too much power in Free Agency. They shouldn't be able to hold a team hostage to go to their preferred destination when FA is coming up..

That sets teams up to get low-balled on trades because the other team knows they're going to get the player that wants to play for them trade or not. The system is all fucked up.

let me keep it all the way real

the cba is fucked up but not because of the players

the owners didn't want to own up to one major fact that everyone seems to overlook.....

they made bad decisions.. and hired bad people to make those decisions so they blame everyone but themselves.

the players have no power, they never did. the players don't hold teams hostages....they're under contract they have to play.

the new cba just was made to hurt the miami heat because dan gilbert was upset because he didn't put any talent around lebron he had a golden goose, didn't feed it and it left.

he tried to say big market vs little market when it was competence vs incompetence.

and now a small market team in OKC who did their job and drafted EXCELLENT can't even keep all the players they drafted.. because everyone else fucked up.

Just look around man

how many gm's blow up the teams every 2 years and try again? how are they getting so many chances...firing everyone but themselves trading everyone but themselves... right after the lockout NENE got a max deal immediately and he wasn't even healthy.

the new cba didn't prevent that dumb shit now did it?

like i said the gm's should have gotten locked out

but blaming the gm's would lead to the owners owning up to the fact that they're really to blame for hiring incompetent people to make million dollar decisions...

the players don't dictate the market...the teams do.

if the best offer for joe johnson was 4 years $35... then that's all he would have taken...

but gm's being who they are....paid max immediately just cause..

Dwight has squandered all his credibility by trying to be the fucking nice guy.

The same goddamn thing happened to Lebron.

Either you play nice and play for the Magic forever, or you be an asshole from the start to get the fuck out of dodge.

This half and half shit is failing.

Right this dude talking about loyalty. Who the fuck opt in then asked to be traded??? Dude is just silly. He need back surgery hopefully the implant a stronger backbone. WTF!!!

I hope Orlando keeps his ass.

Like really.

Cant wait to hit Vegas for Summer League. These past few days without hoop get me irritated

this isnt the mlb

Kobe has no trade clause, he can void a trade. Is he the only NBA player with one ?

Howard doesnt. Google. The Magic are not going to come close to getting anything of equal value with only 1 year on his deal. He is showing his true colors with this bitch made shit. The goofy bastard signed the extension ,complained about coaches, personal etc.And the Magic fucked up trying to appease him.

he has my support.. fuck the team....do what you want....if they keep him they dumb as fuck...why keep someone that dont want to be there??

fake a injury..........refuse to sign trade........all sorts of things he can do to further fuk the magic over....

I knew it would be the same bullshit in the off season from this wishy washy muthafucka.

look like it worked

Orlando new GM has agreed to moved Howard. "We had enough of this"

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/nba--magic-are-weighing-trade-offers-for-dwight-howard.html

With new controversy swirling around Dwight Howard, the Magic have become serious in their efforts to trade their All-Star center, Adrian Wojnarowski reports. "The Orlando Magic have begun to seriously consider offers to accommodate Dwight Howard’s desire to be traded," Woj reports. Howard's preferred destination remains Brooklyn.

Following a meeting with Howard in Los Angeles on Friday, new Orlando GM Rob Hennigan called GMs on Saturday asking for their best offers. "Howard and his agent, Dan Fegan, have repeatedly told the Magic in recent weeks that Howard wants to be moved, and that his preferred destination of the Brooklyn Nets hasn’t changed," Woj added.

Earlier last week, Howard or his representatives met with the Players Association in hopes of getting the NBPA to either institute legal action on his behalf or join him, claiming the Magic "blackmailed" him into signing his ETO and opting to stay in Orlando. Ric Bucher reports that the association is considering such action. The NPBA could seek arbitration under the CBA. Few believe such an arbitration would succeed but just the prospect of such action could further pressure the Magic.

Chris Broussard reports that after undergoing surgery on his back in April, Howard asked then-Magic GM Otis Smith to trade him to the Nets, quoting sources. Smith said he would seek a trade, but the Magic fired Smith shortly after the season ended.

Charles Barkley said last night

"Dwight needs to grow the hell up"

This is why the league should contract a few teams. There simply aren't enough superstars to go around. There are only about 5-8 players that can consistently pack an arena on the road. So GMs/Owners are left in a bidding war for second tier players. Trust, the market is setting the price. If one team pays a Joe Johnson $100M, its because at least 3 others are willing to do so.

Teams are forced to pay players above there worth to try to at least somewhat appease their fan base and sell tickets. Atlanta is 3rd least valuable team in the league. If they don't put a playoff team on the court with at least a couple of players with a marginal q score its value plummets even more.

Just imagine if basketball removed the salary cap like baseball. Basketball is way more driven by individual stars than baseball so the Lebrons and Kobes would easily demand over $40 million a year. And rightfully so.

Miami is about to sign a TV Contract worth between $80-100M off Lebron's draw. A "small market" team instantly starts making "big market" dollars from one player's talent.

I think the NFL has one of the best model with its extensive revenue sharing making it way more of a single entity than MLB and the NBA. There's less of a gap between the have and have-nots which allows GMs to make wise decision based on talent and not just from a marketing standpoint. (Unless you're the Jets. See Tebow.)

On the road just heard on espn radio players union will investigate orlando.

This is getting ugly he has to go. NOW!!!!!

Dwight has lost it.

Situation so far. Dwight called the NBPA on his own and told them his case and ask them what can they do. They told him nothing at best he has to demand a trade or take it to court. Dwight is choosing court.

Dwight situation is this if he goes to court he could get his contract void and have to sit out a year.

Now the players union are saying they will step in???? This is getting ugly Stern looks like che might have to step in. Dwight won't work with orlando he keeps saying Nets. Word is Deron told Dwight his plans and that the Nets are not waiting on him anymore.

Here is where everyone is saying "what". Why didn't dwight bring his case to the nbpa when it happen hell when he was hurt????

He waited 30 fucking mins before free agency open to drop this bomb

Daman u guys did it to urself
