Word. The fact that Cersi fucks her brother and has kids with him compromises everything the Lanisters have built. If people find out that Joffery really is Jaime's son shit is gonna hit the fan. The fact you have the Lainster song in your sig says who you root for. But beyond that, as I already said, Cate's biggest problem is she loves her kids so much. She's doing what she thinks is right and will save all of them. Being a (newly single/widowed) mother is what is motivating her. And the whole Jaime thing? She let him go because she and Briann could tell that all her peeps wanna kill him. I could tell Cate wants to kill his ass too, but from what I have picked up from watching the show, killing him would be a disaster for the Starks. Look at Theon, they told him that killing Bran and Rickon would bite him in the ass. Obviously it wasn't them he killed, but the point is the same. Killing them would get him fucked up even more than he's gonna get anyway once Robb and his people get their hands on him.

Actually,the reason why I have this song in my sig is because a certain event happens in the 3rd book and the song plays a very small part in it...

Theon has no political power at all,not in his own family...so he said fuck it and did what he wanted to do....Catelyn is the wife of a lord and she should not be doing stupid shit like kidnapping a person from another family and putting her husband in a position to cover up for her because she couldnt wait for her husband to get evidence...And then go against the wishes of a king,just he's her son...
