Being DC, the JLA would have the power advantage but the Avengers are a much more cohesive team that has no problem operating under Cap's leadership while certain members of the JLA often bristled under the command of Superman and/or Batman.

Heh...pretty much. Anybody can beat anybody in a comic book. This storyline has already been done a few years ago in the Avengers vs. JLA mini-series by Kurt Busiek and George Perez. A different artist/writer team would have a different outcome.

Capt. Marvel should be able to help out with Thor, and leave Superman to tango with the Hulk- either way the four of them should keep each other very busy...
I think the Hulk could take care of all of them. I do think it would be a hell of a battle.

Good read but, as expected, it was inconclusive. Even the part where Supes popped Thor, to me, doesn't prove anything. Thor's been rocked, even beaten badly before and made the comeback and won. But Supes was in trouble because no sooner had he knocked Thor loopy, Hercules and Wonderman were on his ass and he wasn't winning that one.

The hulk is so over appreciated, I think he's overrated now, no way he could beat Supes, technically, couldn't superman just toss his green ass into
space or if Supes got angry enough, the sun?

i could say the same thing. if the hulk got mad enough couldnt he just throw superman into the sun? Thor is a god and is living asgardian magic. superman is weak against magic. hercules is also a god and a true immortal. how can you kill him? as much as i love batman. batman vs cap is close. vision = martian man hunter. namor = aquaman. quicksilver = flash. who's gonna stop wolverine? but like another member pointed out.... it all boils down to the writers.

Hercules can be killed (see Sentry killing Ares) but Superman, the only guy who would be capable, isnt going to do it.
I actually think Namor > Aquaman and Flash > Quicksilver. But that Vision/Martian Manhunter fight could be good.
Green and Red hulk will have a field day.
If we're talking about the origin teams..Martin Manhunter would be their only major problem, Thor himself could sum up a lighting storm and take out Batman, Flash, Aquaman and even Wonder Woman...The rest could keep Green Lantern busy till Mjolnir comes and out powers his ring..Super punk was already defeat by Mjolnir's magic!!
