The official Sneakerhead Thread*************

To tell you da truth, I'ono what size I wear in fitteds anymore. :dunno:

I'll go dumb hard trying to cop those black foams

You??!!! Shit, that makes two of us. In fact, I'll pay whatever da price will be to pre-order them hoes so I don't have to deal w/da lines & inevitable bullshit that will come w/that release.

Bama nigga shit..:smh::smh:

That big ass logo, really nigga? You gonna wear a du-rag under it too?

I hope that this response wasn't an effort to deter me from wantin' to get this fitted b/c if so, you just wasted keystrokes for nothin'.

So nobody's gonna cop John Wall's new Reebok Zig Encores for $200??? You get a case, a watch & some sunglasses

:lol::lol::lol:

I also buy kicks b/c I like 'em. But just think, in all honesty, do you think that most people would still buy J's and such if they knew that when they went outside that every other person that they saw would also have 'em on???

Those are people that buy kicks for a status symbol. Im a grown man if a person still regards a pair of sneakers as a status symbol then they are either under 21 or their priorities are fucked. I'd still buy them. I buy kicks I like no matter what.

So now Nike wants to use Twitter to RSVP sneakers?...
:angry::angry::angry::angry:

http://sneakernews.com/2012/04/17/nike-institutes-new-twitter-rsvp-release-system/

So let me understand this... Nike is trying to alleviate the chaos they create with more chaos? This shit is fucking retarded. I honestly think I'll be getting out of the "sneaker game" after this year. After this holiday season. I'm calling it quits. Obviously I'll still wear sneakers, but as far as "exclusive" shit. I'm done. Those fucking morons at Nike decided that it would be a better idea to make people RSVP shoes as opposed to making more shoes? Really?...
Now I'm no economist. But it doesn't take a genius to figure this one out. I understand supply and demand and know they can't flood the streets on every release. But the major releases, there is no reason for them to not have enough shoes to satisfy at least 3/4s of the consumers who want them.
I can already see the mayhem those "Stealth" foams and "Breds" will cause.
These mufuckas will only make 300K pairs, when they know they could easily move a million. And on top of that they wouldn't even have to cut prices. But be sure they'll do a press conference saying they don't condone and aren't responsible for any violence caused over their products. GTFOH! Nike on that bullshit!:smh:

Sounds too complicated to work effectively. I wonder what the first release is going to be, the elites next weekend or the playoffs?

I'm laughing because Nike did it for their stores and most importantly THEIR safety. How does this do anything for consumer safety?

Nike so full of shit. I love sneakers but now the shit you have to go through is getting ridiculous. All these new "safety" measures took away the avenues people went to bring less hassle to themselves.

But this is the thing. If Nike really wanted to make people safe, they could. Make more shoes. They don't even have to make them more affordable, just make more. The limited number of shoes has been the cause of all this chaos, and the reseller bullshit. If they made the supply fit the demand, there wouldn't be ANY riots and far less robberies.

We knew about the concord and bred release a year in advance

You knew what happen with the space jams and cool greys, more so the space jams

You know the concords are one of the most popular Jordans...top five if not top three. And you fucked it up? You have a whole year to produce plenty of concords, but you don't?

They've had numerous SLH and dunkman restocks on NDC. I think the dunkmans still have a FSR, at least a couple of days ago they did. Once their website crashed, they couldn't have gone, we've got you...we have plenty and will be releasing them over the next three or four days at 12am...one pair per limit address?

Is that shit that difficult? Double the production for the concords?

Let's see what happens with the breds.

imma get 10 pairs

Nigga please I'm getting 30 pairs now what! You know what fuck even that, I'm gonna be the first in line at every Foot Locker and I'm buying all sizes of the most hyped releases. Yeah I'm buying all of the kid sizes also so fuck their feet too! All the shoes will be mine and if you're nice I'll sell you a size 1 in toddlers so you can hang them on your rear view mirror! I'm starting to think like Nike, Fuck Your Feet! :lol:

Their reply to the concord thing was that the Concord was the single most produced Jordan release ever.....which had NOTHING to do with the demand...

I'm still tryin' to figure out how they think that that Twitter RSVP shit is gonna work if everyone doesn't have Twitter. Why do they assume that everyone has a Twitter page to do that shit anyways???
