Yep, and the reason why, is because Jon Jones has been successful enough with his striking, that he will be willing to test it out on Silva. That won't end well at all. I think you are saying that supposedly the HW champ can beat every other person in the world in a fist fight and is treated as such. But the Pinnacle of the sport right now is Manny/Floyd because they are the biggest draws. Yes they are Gods over there, but point blank boxing doesn't need a dominant well known HW champ to keep it moving and neither does MMA and history shows that.

MMA has to be my favorite sport right now, simply because you have to wait too damn long and search for a good boxing match and big fights are few and far in between...but if boxing was ever going to die, it would have done it by now. It will never die. MMA will always have the flaw of wrestling and grappling turning off a lot of people, not to mention it can be a far bloodier sport and a lot of people don't have the stomach for it.

what I meant HW fights in either sport gets the most attention...ppl love to see big men with tremendous power throwing punches, kicks whatever at eachother...
