OH SHIT DWIGHT HOWARD request Trade to the Nets!!!!!!!!!

I hear u but stern didn't reject the deal to help the hornets he rejected it for nba reasons which is ambiguous as fuck but then it came out why
1. no players dictate where they go.
2. has to benefit the league financially and on the court
3. can't be close to a kwame deal

i personally have no beef with the deal but brook lopez doesn't make orlando competitive ... bynum, gasol, odom do...

the nets financially won't help the small market teams b/c they'll be below the threshold and not in the fund that gilbert alluded too.

lastly howard is the best center in the nba multiple all-star, trade him for lopez who regressed last season and 2 low 1sts?

saving 47mil is big but ultimately orlando may prefer to be competitive with assets than with free money... plus if the lakers take turk orland still saves money b/c odom is a free agent at the end of the season.

if the nba is gonna apply those basketball reasons to trades for stars now dwight to nj wouldn't pass.

sure y'all can sign him at the end of the season but if he's sent to the lakers he won't be leaving.

again the deal should go thru but if u apply the whys of the paul rejection then the howard deal won't go thru.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

You still don't get it.

The Devos the family who own the Magic have said that if they trade Dwight they will go in to cost cutting mode.

They don't give a fuck about a competitive team this is about MONEY

t appears that the NBA lockout has taken a toll on the Orlando Magic.

The team has laid off 20 full-time staff members and determined that up to 12 other open positions will be eliminated, three league sources told the Orlando Sentinel.

The moves impact most of the organization's departments but not the basketball operations department. They were announced to the team's remaining full-time staff of about 170 people on Tuesday.

A Magic spokesman would not comment. A team policy prohibits employees from commenting about staffing matters.

that happen this morning again. The Nets leaked this deal last week because they know the DEVOS WOULD JUMP AT THIS DEAL.

YOU THINKING BASKETBALL HOMIE THIS IS ALL ABOUT MONEY 47 MILLION

They are not trading him to LA when the NETS CAN SAVE THEM 47 FUCKING MILLION DOLLARS

you don't get it but its the same thing I said about the deadline.

Also pretty sure Mikhail will write the Devos a nice little check too. I mean dude did just buy an Island

ALL U DUDES SOUNDING BUTT HURT!! GO CRY IN PRIVATE SOMEWHERE OVER THE CP3 TRADE STOPPAGE .:lol:

dude i can careless im not a laker fan.

i'm simply stating if this will be the measuring point for superstar deals dwight to nj for lopez and 2 picks won't cut it.

read dan gilberts email plus read the nba's statement.... stern used his nba powers as commish not as the owner of the hornets.

Cuban wrote an email to espn Dallas about the importance of cap space as it relates to the new CBA...it explains the logic behind what the magic are seeking.

nope he nixed it for "nba reasons" using his commish powers, read the spokesman's statements. he covered himself to be able to block more deals by not saying anything bout the nba owning the hornets.

if he allows this deal he has to allow the chris paul deal...b/c if he doesn't the lakers and paul can take legal action.
Then my question is... if there was an owner in place... who agreed to all the terms... How does he stop it???

He doesn't get it these Owners just had a lockout to ensure they make more money than before.

You really think the Owners are going stop another owner FROM SAVING 47 million dollars

Again Orlando Owners want this. This is the reason the Nets leaked this out. They knew the Orlando owners would be looking at this

well whatever we are no longer contenders and all the 2012 free agents will be gone

 :smh:

I don't know what is going on...but like he said, the new CBA is changing the game. Teams can't eat big contracts like we have in the past. You're going to really need cap space to maneuver & if we resigned the team from last year, we'd be stuck with that team for 5 years & become the Spurs.

Again GM of the Hornets made the deal and the Owners did not approved.

The Devos want the Nets deal. YOU THINK OTIS WANTS TO TRADE DWIGHT TO AN EASTERN CONFERENCE TEAM:lol::lol::lol::lol:

OWNERS DON'T CARE ABOUT THAT.

LIKE THE LOCKOUT PROVE THEY CARE ABOUT MONEY

Deron said he is 90 percent he will resign with the Nets. HAHAHAHAHAAH

I waited till today to post these quotes but I will go ahead.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Wanna know a secret??? this ain't it the nets have planned too.

We actually going save our cap space. THAT WAY IF ORLANDO DON'T TRADE HIM WE CAN SIGN BOTH OF THEM IN FREE AGENCY

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

yeah we were in a bad spot for sure but they keep talking bout this Dirk window which is what? 3 or 4 more years?

chandler is signing a 4 year deal with the Knicks

if this howard trade goes through Dwill aint leaving the Nets

CP3 will end up on the Lakers man

only hope will be to get a team to trade us a player straight up once we will have cap space but who will be on these players level?

I dont know bro

I just dont know

again i hear u... but u r missing the gravity of what stern just did. unofficially he just said " the only thing that matters is the league having competitive teams" yes the magic owners want to save money but they still gave stern the power to kill deals if it does not line up with "nba reasons".

this paul deal set a new unspoken rule on trades.

and this deal doesn't even work under the cba
Due to 21 being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. 21 had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did not happen here. This trade does not satisfy the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

whereas the laker trade of bynum, gasol, odom for howard, turk and nelson does work under the cba
Due to the L.A. Lakers and Orlando being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. the L.A. Lakers and Orlando had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. What I been saying about Dec 9??? I been saying this since last week but okay I will post it.

One of the first round picks is the Rockets plus we still have Golden State unprotected pick (wow they actually made that pick for Marcus Williams:lol::lol::lol:)

Where do you see those teams finishing in the West??

This will be a deep draft. Also Orlando keeps their own pick. so that three first picks with this deal and if the Nets add the GSW pick that's 4. Where do you think the Magic will finish when they start to rebuild.

2. This deal is the best because it gives the Magic cap space once the season starts they will have to take back matching cap space. Orlando owners let it be known they were only interesting in spending if it kept Dwight. Dwight leaves their cap space is fucked. Now again 47 million off the books.

47 MILLION OFF THE BOOKS they will have cap space next season.

this is the best deal.

this is just pressure to put on Otis.

You name another scenario where Orlando gets back pieces, cap space and a young player like Lopez

Leverage for who???:lol: We have Orlando on the clock they don't take this deal we moving on and their stuck with hedo.

This ain't Melo. Look at what Otis said. "he will do what's best for orlando."

dwight said out his mouth he wants to play with Deron

I didn't say it was Nets or bust. I said the offer he has right now he is not going to get with no other team.

you just said it they would have to trade Deandre later.

again that means Orlando a team losing their star player will be adding another pay role on their team. They want to rebuild.

Also DA just brought up. Eric Gordon will be free agent and he has made it no secret he wants to win and unlikely he would resign the Clippers let alone the Magic rebuilding. Brook on the other hand loves Florida. He has a home there during the summer and he loves Disney land. Brook would resign there or PHX suns if traded.

All I said this offer has a limit on which I love. I will be honest what I love about this trade for the Nets they don't accept it by the 9 no one will be offering this again.

this is the only chance for them to get rid of Hedo and take nothing back and free up space.

again Orlando Owners got what they wanted a new arena. They have let it be known if Dwight leaves they want to go into cost cutting. you don't do that by adding contracts.

which is why Otis tune has changed. It's about what his bosses want. Dwight is gone they are going to want the best offer that saves them money

Then my question is... if there was an owner in place... who agreed to all the terms... How does he stop it???

he feels the deal won't help the nba basically. and from what other owners r saying stern does not want it to be where nba players can dictate where they go. if that happens u'll have cats making demands and not reporting to camp and shit.

i say if the deals pass the cba let them go but the nature of the paul trade changed the game

now i could be wrong but if he allows this he has to reverse his stance on the paul trade.

again i hear u... but u r missing the gravity of what stern just did. unofficially he just said " the only thing that matters is the league having competitive teams" yes the magic owners want to save money but they still gave stern the power to kill deals if it does not line up with "nba reasons".

still don't get dan gilbert was upset that the lakers were the one saving money and gave up no picks.

orlando saves money here and gets 3 picks in a deep pick. one of the picks the rockets

THANKS STERN :lol::lol::lol::lol:

any way we don't need a third team. We have cap space we would just absorb both contracts and trade farmer and someone .

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Creed you sound salty man stop fighting what will happen

Stern can't "kill" deals as he pleases...only deals he/owners have a say in are those that pertain to the Hornets...he tried to fuck the league over and it didn't work...I'm actually glad the league stepped in...don't get me wrong...I'm glad Dwight may end up in BK...I woulda been content tho if he chose to go elsewhere other than the Lakers...but him on the Lakes w/ CP3 that shit woulda been bad for the league and killed my interest in the sport esp. knowing that the Hornets was a league-owned team that woulda allowed Paul to the Lakes so easily which probably woulda enticed Howard to wanna sign there

see u said it u have to trade farmar or something. the cba still needs to be satisfied man ain't no salty to it its just the rules the nets can't make this deal right now without satisfying the cba, same way the knicks can't just sign chandler without letting go off billups. the nets can only do this by being over the cap themselves or getting a third team per cba rules.

what stern did was hate but what i'm saying is the rules as the players/owners agreed too.

true that but lets be real this is the Nets. Why didn't Deron and Dwight hook up in another city??

Thing is the Nets cater to Deron every need. His wife loves NY, they went Lebron on dude and remember Deron and Dwight had a deal to play together.

Deron wants to stay a Net and he has been working with the Nets

dude read the nba statement. he killed the deal for "nba reasons" not "hornets reasons". he didn't define what "nba reasons" are either. under that stern can kill whatever he wants. its fucked up but hey i say let deals happen but stern changed the landscape.

again farmer or someone would go Orlando. No third team is needed.

Again we have cap space we will just absorb both contract amnesty Outlaw.

this has been planned out.

again owners were against the paul deal because the lakers save 40 million as Dan said and gave up no picks.

the team giving up their star saves 47 million and gets 3 picks plus Lopez.

See you in Brooklyn

farmar/lopez for howard/turk does not work under the cba either
Due to 21 and 18 being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. 21 and 18 had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did not happen here (only 21 met the condition). This trade does not satisfy the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

btw, why on earth did y'all sign farmar to 14.6 mil a season?

true that but lets be real this is the Nets. Why didn't Deron and Dwight hook up in another city??

Deron wants to stay a Net and he has been working with the Nets

Why?

Cuz its easier

Deron is already on the team and they have a solid deal to offer for Dwight

You have a owner who will spend money and moving into a new arena and Brooklyn

Why try to force the shit and both leave and hook up somewhere else?

I understand completely

I'm wondering who are the players he think we can add????

man I have no clue this mufucka better have some shit up his sleeve or he is about to set us back for years

if the nets don't amnesty outlaw then deal him to orlando in this deal

outlaw, farmar, petro, lopez and marrow for howard, turk

then the deal works under the cba

nets can't just send farmar and lopez...

"NBA" reasons vs. "Hornets" reasons is just jargon/semantics...ultimately Stern can not go around the league squashing deals as he pleases...stop w/ the Chicken Little shit...and didn't the owners have to vote before the Paul deal was squashed?
