It must annoy the hell out of Vince McMahon that Zach Ryder got himself this over with minimal help from the company. More over than anybody that the company has tried to shove down the fans throats for the last couple of years.

That dude is corny as fuck. I'm confused to why he's so over with fans. I don't know if its because they're rooting for the underdog the company wasn't behind or what but that cat is garbage.

guess they saying fuck they team that quick. John Cena turned them against each other that easy, so not only is he a Superhero, he's a Super Genius too. Awesome Truth had something and now up in smoke it goes in 3 minutes. great writing

Yea Truth and Miz been dying down lately but still easily the best thing Raw had going for itself. I don't know if this is a Miz face turn or a Truth face turn but I do seem to remember hearing about Miz turning face but he still seems like a heel. They ended that duo far too quick.

Yeah. They were the best thing on the show to me. I wonder why they decided to end it so early?

He got over with his Youtube videos which are pretty good most of the time and showed more of the character than anything that the WWE has given him.Show personality, come up with some catchphrases and be solid in the ring and you're on a good path and he did that.

That was pathetic. It's sad when it's damn near guaranteed that whenever your top star is involved in a segment particularly one on the mic that it's gonna suck. What Cena was saying was horrible, he damn near buried The Awesome Truth and then the fact that they bought it with absolutely no build up makes them look like fools.Great job by the WWE writing staff creating shit. They had already dropped the ball by making them look like jobbers since the beatdown at Hell in the Cell and then they complete it with the horrible breakup.

:yes::yes:

They didn't give the character a chance. They had the vignettes, showed him backstage influencing a couple guys like convincing Spanky to make a fool of himself and then hooked him up with Piper for awhile and then nothing.O'Haire had a look, was young, athletic and was solid in the ring. His attitude may have done him in cause over the years I've seen at least a couple of stories of him getting in fights and brawls including assaulting a woman at a bar I believe. Then again the WWE dropped the ball in regards to most of the young talent they acquired from WCW especially the Natural Born Thrillaz group.

WWE dropped the ball on the whole Invasion angle.

Yea I know how he got over i'm just shocked he's so over with fans. Especially since he comes off as Cena-lite and everyone hates Cena right now.

They broke Awesome Truth up? Dag, besides the Rock shit, that was the only thing I liked that they had going.

Ryder might be over with the fans, but he still looks like a corny jobber to me.

guess they dropped the jonah hill guest-hosting bit

did jerry lawler lose his voice or something..? seemed like cole and booker t were
the only ones annoncing :dunno:

And I still don't understand why they would bring the Rock back just to bury their top guy. Because win or lose at WM, the Rock is so over with the fans, that a win wouldn't help Cena at all.

I don't even think a heel turn would help Cena because I don't think they would do it right (plus he's just annoying in general). Unless he just goes apeshit from people booing at him and just beats everybody down, and destroys the ring and the set and shit, maybe yank the guy who wears the We Hate Cena shirts outta the crowd, beats him down. They could even start selling We Hate Cena shirts, people will buy them shits. They could keep the "Super Cena" shit going but having him destroying the faces. And then he gets beat buy the new top face to end it. They might as well try something different. These kids will grow out of that Cena shit sooner or later.

And if you're Cena, Orton or Punk, why would you want the Rock to be back full-time anyway? They should be wanting better writers and bookers. All the Rock can do for them is generate temporary interest to the shows from fans who lost their interest in WWE a long time ago. That's one less spot in the main event. It just makes them look weak like they can't carry the WWE by themselves. They shouldn't have even let Cena go at the Rock from that angle because I'm sure it just eats Cena up inside that he works hard every night trying to be this super-face and the crowd, no matter where they're at, doesn't fuck with him, and The Rock can come back every 3 months and blow the roof off. That means the Rock has already paid his dues, he's put enough work in to just come back whenever the fuck he wants to. And this angle just proves that Cena will never get to that level going this route. It will never get to that level where Cena could go away for months, years, and come back and the arena will explode like Rock or Stone Cold.

Vince's ego is by far one of the biggest problems with the company. He's out of touch. His decline as a wrestling mind is about the same as Ric Flair's decline as a wrestler.

Except I think Vince's "genius" has always been overrated to begin with. He took his father's formula and expanded it nationwide and instead of working with other territories like Georgia did when they had a national cable outlet, he used his to bury the competition.
The worst part about his treatment of Zack is that Ryder got over a character he (WWE) created so it's not like he was the "Woo Woo Woo" guy in ROH or TNA. He is wholly a WWE creation but because he got himself over, they're resistant.
Great match which shows that Ziggler needs to elevated and elevated quickly.

Punk,Ziggler and Daniel Bryan are the 3 best wrestlers in the WWE!!!

They're a year late with Ziggler but if they're going to do it, they need to get on it and then put McIntyre in his spot with the US title.
If they want to elevate Ziggler, he has to stop getting beat by every top guy. He's been pinned by Edge, Cena, Orton, and Punk this year on tv. Stop that shit. Just being competitive isn't enough, he has to win.

That dude is corny as fuck. I'm confused to why he's so over with fans. I don't know if its because they're rooting for the underdog the company wasn't behind or what but that cat is garbage.

He's supposed to be corny, that's the gimmick. He's a throwback to the over the top gimmick characters WWE did in the 80s.

Cena lite?

And I still don't understand why they would bring the Rock back just to bury their top guy. Because win or lose at WM, the Rock is so over with the fans, that a win wouldn't help Cena at all.

I've been saying that all along. It should be a back and forth, not just Rock buries Cena and Cena doesn't get his heat back. Then if Cena wins at Mania, it sucks because its so obvious and if Rock wins, you just buried your top guy for a year to a guy who doesn't wrestle.

And if you're Cena, Orton or Punk, why would you want the Rock to be back full-time anyway? They should be wanting better writers and bookers.

We know he's not so nobody is even considering that and it's pissing some of them off. This is getting to be very much like when Hogan would come in, go over some top guy and then leave but at least Hogan put over Kurt Angle and Undertaker.
They can want better writers but they don't hire them, Vince does.

I disagree. When they book Cena correctly, the audience adjusts. Most of the audience HATES the SuperCena shit. But the few times he's put in an underdog position, the crowds start to develop babyface sympathy for him (the Nexxus angle for example).
And he does get Rock/Austin pops but only when he's been away such as his surprise entrance in the Royal Rumble a few years ago, coming back from injury. People have really hated Hulk Hogan but when he makes his comebacks, crowds go bananas and he was everything people hate about Cena but much, much worse, in the ring and backstage.

The end of Awesome Truth already? Back to the midcard, Mr Killings.

Hulk Hogan put over Kurt & Taker? It doesn't count when the person is a made man already. That was more of Hogan realizing he needed them instead of the other way around. Rock can go over Cena and no one would mind except Punk & Orton, at this point Cena might not even mind it.

As for Cena getting Rock/Austin pops:smh:im disappointed in you Dave, he got the surprise pop but outside of that he's never gotten that he's never gotten blow the roof off pop that Rock/Austin/Hogan have gotten. At this point no matter what Cena is past stale and making him human is only going to have fans dread the eventual SuperCena comeback. It is what it is now in the WWE and we can hope for change, but until Vince is threatened with bankruptcy things will never change.

This is a conspiracy lil jimmy switched R-Truth's piss test
From WWE.com:

In accordance with the Talent Wellness Program, WWE has suspended Ron Killings (R-Truth) for 30 days effective immediately for his first violation of the company’s policy.

Posted by Dave Mitchell on 11/21/2011 at 10:49 AM

Evan Bourne's suspension for his first violation of WWE's Talent Wellness Program has generated a great deal of controversy amongst talent as some feel a double standard is in place.

Bourne, who's real name is Matthew Korklan, was suspended for thirty days on November 1, 2011 after testing positive for Spice, a synthetic marijuana brand. Wrestling Observer editor Dave Meltzer reports Bourne and another wrestler higher up the card smoked the marijuana substitute drug at a party, yet he was the only one of the two to be suspended. The other wrestler was told he had failed for marijuana, which results in a $2,500 fine, as opposed to a thirty-day suspension for synthetic marijuana.

According to the Wrestling Globe Newsletter, the wrestler in question is a participant in tonight's Survivor Series match featuring John Cena and The Rock against R-Truth and The Miz.

This has led to questions about whether WWE's drug testing procedure is flawed or whether talent are treated differently depending on their status in the organization.

This would not be the first time in which WWE reprieved a top-level talent who had violated their Talent Wellness Program. On August 30, 2007, Sports Illustrated named Randy Orton as one of fourteen contracted and former WWE performers to have purchased pharmaceuticals from an online pharmacy (Signature Pharamacy), a violation of the Talent Wellness Program. Specifically, Orton received somatropin, nandrolone, stanozolol between September 2004 and February 2007, which occurred after the "no drugs from online sources" rule was instituted. However, Orton was the lone contracted performer not to be suspended by WWE.

Wrestling Observer editor Dave Meltzer reported that WWE did not suspend Orton because he had already been suspended for a drug policy violation in August 2006, resulting in double jeopardy. The ruling, however, appeared nonsensical since Orton continued to receive pharmaceuticals following the suspension. WWE attorney Jerry McDevitt claimed last year in a letter to Irv Muchnick that "no action was taken against Randy Orton because he was not on any customer list for Signature Pharmacy ever provided to us by District Attorney Soares."

I guess this means when he comes back he'll be a face wrestler and mabye, probably have a short feud with The Miz.. I guess the storyline will be nxt week that Miz gave him a concussion and he'll be on the shelf for a while.

Of course it was. Hogan needed Vince and WWE because WCW was gone so he played nice. The real Hogan came back when he feuded with Michaels and later Orton, when he refused to put over either.
Rock going over Cena, unless Cena starts to get his heat back in a big, big way, is just bad for business. Rock didn't go to another company and is making a comeback to WWE, he left the business and he still never really came back except to promote his movies so for him to dominate this feud and then win the match would be stupid beyond belief. But it would by typical WWF/WWF thinking. They love having celebrities beat their guys: Mr T, Lawrence Taylor, Floyd Mayweather, Vince has never cared about the business and I don't expect that to change.

As for Cena getting Rock/Austin pops:smh:im disappointed in you Dave, he got the surprise pop but outside of that he's never gotten that he's never gotten blow the roof off pop that Rock/Austin/Hogan have gotten.

So, what you're saying is, the one time Cena was gone for a sizable amount of time and came back, he got a monster pop but he doesn't get those because he's on tv every week, beating everybody? I agree.
If Rock or Austin was on tv every week, they would wear long on people too. After all, it was the people turning on Rock going into his SummerSlam match with Brock, not the other way around.

At this point no matter what Cena is past stale and making him human is only going to have fans dread the eventual SuperCena comeback. It is what it is now in the WWE and we can hope for change, but until Vince is threatened with bankruptcy things will never change.

You overestimate most fans. Write good angles, fans will eat it up. Most fans don't follow it online or read newsites so if Michael Hayes, Stephanie, HHH and whoever else is back there would write good stuff and book Cena as a human, it would work. There will always be detractors who will nitpick everything, fuck 'em.

This is a conspiracy lil jimmy switched R-Truth's piss test

A-HA!!!
Damn, Truth! And to punish him, they split Awesome Truth and he can expect to be doing jobs for months after he comes back. His main event push is over for good.
Maybe he'll take the time to have someone re braid his hair. I hate that shit on his head.

They're gonna him the fuck out.If they weren't they would have come up with a better way to write him out whether it was Cena taking him out or Truth flipping and jacking up some officials leading to him suspended again.

When did Rock promote his movies? I mean they ran ads for them but he never showed up and pimped his films, when he came back he never said anything about Fast 5.

Austin - stale by the end of 01
Hogan - stale by 91
Rock - started to by 02 but reinvented himself in 03
Taker - stale by 09 would've been sooner but he always knows when to switch it up

My point is everyone becomes stale but it's how you reinvent yourself. Austin has whored himself out so much that his appearances mean nothing now, that's why im glad Rock stays gone for a while because it means something when he shows up. If Cena left for a while then returned he might get a pop, but if he's still the same then they will quickly turn on him.

You say Rock going over Cena is bad for business but honestly business is bad now so it's not like they'd be killing hulkamania. Hogan laid down for Rock because it solidified Rock as the legend of that era and was a legit legend vs legend match, this time around the feeling isn't the same as you have a legend going up against a company man. Cena beating Rock does nothing for him because fans will hate him more, and if it doesn't lead to a heel turn then it's pointless.

So what does everyone think of WWE 12. They really did revamp the whole game. Gameplay is some what slower in a good way. The AI is tough as hell even on default normal. When the devs said that normal on WWE 12 is equal the legend on SVR11 they weren't kidding. It's gonna take a minute to get used the new grapple system. Good thing about the game is that you can adjust game sliders untill you get the hang of it.

BTW does anybody understand the pin system. I used the old system where you just tap the buttons quickly. I don't like that filling the bar shit.

Shit is ridiculous and really does feel like a new game instead of a rehash. The matches feel more real and the dynamic comeback was a great addition.

Did you go into the AI tendency screen? I like playing with the difficulty up because i start to take that shit seriously:lol::lol:

Man, I put this boy on easy, and I am going to learn it that way before I go to Road to Wrestlemania. I know that is probably bonkers. On a side note, with all the legends locked up, it kind of shows you just how shitty the roster is...

Breaking up Awesome Truth was just another example of how the writers are constantly thinking short when they should be thinking long.

Although Truth will be gone for a month, there was no reason to break up the team. It seems like they only put Miz and Truth together so that Rock and Cena could have a team to beat at Survivor Series. Now that the PPV is over, they just disregard the team and break them of like it's nothing. They never stop and look at what the audience wants. If they had, they would have noticed that Awesome Truth was the most interesting thing running on Raw and should have hang around, at least until after Mania.

I believe that this was the WWE version of long term thinking.Think about it.Truth and Bourne got busted at the same time. Since Bourne's last match and his absence they haven't let The Awesome Truth get one bit of heat on them. Either Cena has beat their ass by himself or they got beat down by him and the Rock.Besides they don't care about the fans, what's interesting or what makes sense over on Raw.If they did Awesome Truth wouldn't have broke up,they wouldn't be jobbing Ziggler to Mason Ryan, Ryder wouldn't have gotten blatantly jobbed out and Cena wouldn't have reacted like he didn't give 2 shits when Miz was roasting him over the crowds reaction at Survivor Series.

The keep trying to Raw as the number show by Smackdown for their wrestlers when they truth is that if they want Raw to be top show they need to raid Smackdown for their writers. Of course, it may a case of Stephanie and Vince being so subpar that no matter what is written the show is going to end up with bad storylines, horrible comedy, and misfires in terms of pushes.

I've figured out the grapple system. You have to make quick button & direction taps with grapples now. I kept doing submissions because I was holding the buttons too long. As for the AI, you have to always be ready to counter no matter what. My only problem is the pin system. I've lost 4 out of maybe 12 matches now because I couldn't fill the bar up when I wasen't weakened.

Still getting adjusted to the grappling and I suck at counters. I definitely prefer dealing with guys who have submissions since they are so much easier to deal with.

In other news, Bison Smith who wrestles regularly in Puerto Rico and Japan and also was with Ring of Honor in 09 died in Puerto Rico at age 38.The cause is heart complications.Real sad to hear and I heard him on Colt Cabana's Art of Wrestling podcast about 3 weeks ago.He came off as a good guy who loves wrestling.

so let me get this straight, Evan Bourne and R-Truth get busted for smoking a banned substance so they suspend Bourne first and then wait until after the pay per view to suspend Truth and also in the process break up Awesome Truth, but Air Boom is still the tag champs and yet 1/2 of them are suspended. If they don't drop the titles upon his return it would be to me a slap in the face of Truth. Bourne gets to chill for 30 days, fuck Alicia Fox and comes back still tag team champion, and Truth will come back probably as a face, get destroyed by Miz and then get shot back down to Alex Riley, Yoshi Tatsu status..

Yeah they weren't lying when they said it was a whole new game, i checked out of RTWM because that shit was lame and too much like the actual product:lol: Universe Mode is much better and the matches actually feel like matches, truth be told this is better than No Mercy & 06.

According to their policy they have right to use a guy and then suspend him so Truth was kept around cause he was positioned for the match at Survivor Series where as Bourne was suspended immediately since they didn't feel like he was in a storyline so big that his absence would be detrimental. As for Bourne other than not being paid it sounds like a good month to me.Of course, if he did it right Alicia should be walking around with a limp right now.

I hope Truth dosen't turn face. He's comedy gold as a heel. Cena most likely will end up feuding with Brodis Clay since he let to redebut. Cena & Brodis will probably feud for the next two months till they stat setting up for Mania. Lastly I got to nive it up to Dolph Ziggler. He's one of their best wrestlers in the company. I would be great if Punk says something like he underestimted Ziggler last week.

I'm waiting for the top caw creators to get busy. I need the Uso's, Hunico's group, Jericho, Sting, Flair, Tazz, and alot more.

Ziggler is actually a better wrestler and seller than Punk, the only thing he's missing is mic presence but hopefully that's changing.

well if he was able to get this on the regular it wasn't a bad month at all :

I could see Clay vs Undertaker at Mania.

I'm waiting for CAW creators too.You mentioned some good ones.I want the rest of the Horsemen particularly Barry Windham and Tully Blanchard,Brodus Clay and I want the Briscoes in particular.
