Am I supposed to tip for curbside take-away orders at Outback Steakhouse?

I don't want them spitting in my food for not tipping if I'm supposed to tip.

I used to do it for Applebee's takeout order which is similar

I've tipped for take out at other restaurants. Since the order is usually small, I tip $5.

No. You only tip if you going to sit down and eat. If you tipping for a takeout order, you might as well tip whenever you go to a fast food place.

You don't tip for take out........

What got people thinking they are supposed to tip for EVERYTHING is all those damn TIP JARS at coffee house places like STARBUCKS for doing nothing except servicing you the BASIC (at the counter, no service at your table)......if they don't serve me at the table and not my personal my waiter, I'm not givin' a dollar...

I usually tip for curbside service about 2 or 3 bucks and I use to tip at Sonics too before it made me feel like I was dying

It depends on the restaurant. In a sit down one with real meals like that then yes you should because it's given to the kitchen staff. Hell, even when you eat there you still should give a little even if the waitperson wasn't great because they spit that with the kitchen.

But if it's just something like a burger joint, or a hotdog stand, then no they don't really need a tip unless you want to be generous.

I tip, but I get curbside frequently. I don't need the workers looking at my order like  "this cheap bastard again, let me fuck with his food?" Tip if you are a regular. They start throwing extra shit in there if you do.

If it's curbside, yeah throw them a few bucks. But if you're walking inside and getting it yourself..NOPE.

Yea u supposed to tip, I used to work at a restaurant with curbside and the person bringing u your food is responsible for putting everything together, making sure everything is what u ordered and taking the food out to u. So they are doing u a service so yes u tip

I add a buck if they come out quick and get my order right. I never tip if I go in and pick up my order.

It would be a good idea. You really want to be cool with people handling your food. If you ever get into it with a food server never return to that restaurant. Find a new place to go.

peace

Basically but now kats are pointing it out plus if I hit up AB's frequently
:dunno: It would be a decent gesture.
If I see the cute chick with the fat lil ass getting the order dead right in the future, I will

peace

I do it sometimes, but often they're running so damn quick I don't have time to do it.

Well I went to pick up my food. I parked my car and went inside the takeout door and paid for my food. A tip didn't seem to be expected so I didn't press the issue. I paid, he gave me my change and I left. :dunno:

if they bring that shit out to me i do. but if i walk in to get my food i dont. i sometimes feel guilty about it but real talk they didnt do shit but punch in some keys on a computer

I tip only if there is a service rendered and walking my food to the curb isn't one of them. I can easily get it myself and cut that out. Only exception I'll make is if it's one of the neighborhood youngins that I know is trying to do something with themselves.

I tip: bartenders, waitresses, pizza delivery drivers, strippers and on a rare occasion taxi drivers.

The rest of these folks better put thatr cup out there
