I'm having trouble adjusting to the fact that the cast most likely won't change much unlike the comic where new characters are/was constantly being introduced.

My hopes for the show.
1. Kill Tdogg
2. Introduce Tyreese,Michonne and the Governor.
3. The Prison scene
4. Kill Undead Tdogg
5. The Cannibals scene

People need to stop complaining about how "slow and talky" this show is and shit.

It's a DRAMA with horror elements.
Not the other way around.
This is how Robert Kirkman wanted it to be.
It's no different than the comic book.

On another note...

This young Filipino cat I work with bought up a major point about the fact that all the BLACK folks Down South, and all they have in the cast is Jackie (who died last season) and T-Dogg?

Not ignoring Morgan and his son of course.

But you're sure as HELL are seeing a lot of Black zombies.
Just not a lot of LIVE Black folks.

Again bro... I don't think any of us are really complaining about the time devoted to dialogue, character development etc.... it's simply that the pacing is kind of shit... especially relative to the first season. This latest episode has been much better but the first couple were paced horribly. As a reader of the comics I can attest to the fact that there are whole issues that go by without any violence but there's a lot of story and character development with a palatable sense of tension throughout. I think the firing of the writers from S1 is shining through this season.

Hmmm... That Game of Thrones novel, is it in the ebooks section?

I'd be surprised if this show lasts til they make it to the prison...but that whole time @ the prison tho made the comic what it was...what forces them to leave I NEVER saw coming...and don't know how Rick recovered from that...the tv series will NEVER touch that

Robert Kirkman has recently confirmed that The Governor will not be appearing in Season 2 of The Walking Dead, “[There's] zero percent chance in the second season,” he said, however he did say that the charachter might be appearing in a later season, “[In the] third season, 92 percent.” He also said that Michonne and Tyrese won’t be appearing in the Second Season either for reasons he did not state.

However, Kirkman appeared to be excited when Morgan and his son were mentioned, “We’re just dying to get (Lennie James) back in the show. He’s such a great actor!” And although Morgan and his son don’t appear till much later, Kirkman has stated that he would like both Lennie James and Adrian Kali Turner back as soon as possible.

i can name ten differences right now.
Shane is still alive. He didnt even make it to the house in the comics.
Carl didnt get shot in the comics until recently. and it wasnt by watching some deer.
There was no stop at the research facility.

just to name a few.

if i missed the last two episodes and started watching this sunday, all i would need to know is that Shane got the equipment and he also killed Otis. Thats it. Thats all that has happened in the past 2 episodes.

I can see this becoming like Heroes for a lot of people on here. Week after week it's all, "bitch bitch this show sucks. This and that is horrible about it....see you all next week so I can continue to force myself watch it."

I just don't get why continue watching something that you don't like? There is plenty of shows that more than 90% of the BGOL community co-signs that is currently being shown (Boardwalk Empire, Homeland, etc). And by all accounts the comic book of Walking Dead (They're loaded on my iPad 2, but I haven't read them yet) is supremely better, so why not just read that and watch a different show?

Anyway, I thought it was a pretty good episode, and this season is pretty good in general. Thus, I'll keep watching.

most people are complaining because the show started out so strong and now theyve pulled back a little bit... if they started season 1 like season 2 then no one would complain... probably wouldnt be as popular though....

Yea....they shoulda kept the origial people writing the show......I like the show but season one has went waaaaaay harder then this second season....except for shane this past weekend that was raw lol (don't wanna spoil it)
