I saw the video on the news and to me that was totally uncalled for. There is a difference between self defense and getting stupid. I really think he could have handled those two ladies without no weapon. But from some of the remarks of some of the people on here, they have no love and self respect for there own women. If ladies get stupid we should be the man example of what is a right way to do things.
This wasn't his house this was a public place.
He didn't walk away from them like some are saying he did. He ran to get something to arm himself with, he got the rod or whatever it is to beat them hoes down. Watch the vid again he catches the bitch with the rod before she had a chance to turn the corner.

Here's the thing with that: If we can all see that he has a clear physically advantage of over her, yet she is still charging after him trying to fight, isn't the natural assumption that she has something up her sleeve?
She may not have had a blade, but if someone (male or female) who you could clearly dominate is coming at you anyway, don't you assume, in the heat of the moment, that that person is holding something that equals the playing field?
Him arming himself was absolutely the prudent thing to do.

the area outside of the back was a public area which is where they were. when they went behind the counter, that is no longer public space that is for employees only period. they were in the wrong for going back there
He did walk away clearly on the video. his intent was to arm himself which he did. We cannot assume something was going to happen, we can however go by video evidence which shows them following him OUT OF THE PUBLIC AREA into the private employee area to instigate conflict.

Everyone said it was self defense. Apparently the division is when did it stop being self defense. Reasonable people who know how the laws go in this country understand that it stopped being self defense once those chicks were on the grown beaten and he could've stopped. Or when his coworker came over. It could even be argued that it stopped being self defense once he went back to get that rod as a weapon.

No, BGOL rules state, unless you are a black man you have the right to absolutely kill anyone who does anything to you. You are totally exempt from anything that happens because you're a black man and you losing control is completely ok. There's no such thing as over doing it. ESPECIALLY when it comes to a woman.

Word. Self defense is OK, but after a certain point homeboy became the aggressor. I think you have every right to knock the shit out of, or even kill someone if it is in defense of your own life or in defense of someone else's life (e.g. protecting a family member). So, that would apply to this. If those chicks made dude feel like he had to defend himself, cool. Handle ya biz. Knock their asses down and keep it pushin. But this nigga kept going. He may have snapped and blacked out for a moment, not thinking about the fact those are women, but regardless he lost his ability to claim self defense in the process. After a certain point, he was a man beating on a woman. That's not a good look.
