it really isn't they went from 800mhz=1ghz processor to a 900mhz- 1.2 dual core processor and will pay 200 to 800 for the honor. i don't know if iphones can overclock but if it could just jail break and overclock to the right processor speed. woulda been easier
Its a upgrade in every sense, except for screen size (that has been the same on every iPhone).
And its the first phone with Bluetooth 4.0
better camera, less standby time and a minor processor upgrade of 100mhz... and siri even tho the app store has voice action pro which does the same for 7 bucks... this is not a 600 to 800 buck upgrade.

siri = voice actions pro and vlingo is dropping a huge update this month as well... siri is based on vlingo and nuance tech and both of those companies in response to siri are dropping major updates... siri is better marketed but not exclusive unless u buy an i4s...
att allows u to extended to current contract to get new buyer prices? if not ur paying what 649, 800 for a new i4s...

Dude stop wasting your time. They will still tell you that's not a reasonable upgrade. To me, its like this. The iPhone and my current Evo are both great phones. I love my evo but it's time to try something new. I had to get an extended battery pack to get great batter life. That's all i want. Great battery life in my smartphone and the iphony i always hated will deliver. I still call it the iPhony.

It's a pretty associated phone that's smooth and has a tin of apps. Wp7 and android kill it in terms of functionality but those two just can't relate to the user like the iPhone can. I think a 5 year old can use a iPhone and android and wp7 have a little of a learning curve.
Apple targets non tech folks and likes to keep it simple in a prettier way than most. I think iOS5 is still a joke especially to wp7 but apple doesn't target people like myself but my mom who know knowing about smartphones and just wants to check her email on the go.

i've never been anti-iphone... using this ipad has opened my eyes... the iphone is ok...i prefer iOS in tablet form tho... but i am fighting misinformation... there have been plenty of times in many threads based on someone's needs or wants i have said get an iphone... for my needs i'd hate owning an iphone but for someone else go for it and be happy... long as ur informed and smart about ur choice i got no issue but if u come off spouting some fanboy/marketing bs and sounding like bgr or dude from techcrunch or engadget or mg something or another (i forget his last name) than i think ur an idiot and a sheep b/c ur purposely misleading with inaccuracies.
It becomes an issue on older sites who have not upgraded their encoding. I really can't tell you which sites, because I don't come across them that much.. but it does happen. All of the mainstream site and those that care about their content, detect which mobile device you are using and renders the video as needed.
