Yo this shit is official...only played around w/ it for like 10 minutes but off the bat I like the "cards" shit and sliding them off the screen...I like the keyboard w/ the numbers and letters on the same touchscreen keyboard w/o having to switch over like w/ the iPad...watched some Youtube vids and they show up rather nicely...Xhamster works flawlessly...and I haven't even optimized the speed and shit as yet...I paid 2x as much for it but it still feels like a deal...I gonna take Mousy advice and buy a case for it to make this shit last as long as possible...cuz if it get damaged then that's pretty much it

What problems are you having? Only issues I have with BGOL are reloading pages. If I open a new card or tab, click on BGOL (one of my bookmarks) when it loads, it opens but it isn't updated at the current time. For instance, if the last post on BGOL was at 4:34, I visited at 4:34 but closed a card and re-open the browser at 5:15, it will open the page as if it were 4:34.....a simple tap on the reload button fixes this, but BGOL and I think other vBulletin forums have this issue.

Use the Hulu patch in preware. It got mine working again.
I logged in and it says welcome Leroy Soup Nutz or w/e and then it takes me back to the log in screen...also I am tryna dl the update and it keeps timing out...no complaints tho...I have only spent like 15 min w/ the thing...need to spend some quality time w/ it and read the threads and I'll be straight...someone else mentioned the problem w/ logging on a while back and someone else mentioned how to fix it...so it's not a real concern
Ya that'll be interesting...I have 2 netbooks and there's 1 I use more than the other...so the 2nd joint is like a backup if like I charging the 1st joint or it have a virus and I need time to fix it...it's too early to tell but I like webOS on the Touchpad so far and having Flash is a huge plus...if it can do the lil things that the iPad can do that makes the user experience a plus then I might just use the iPad as a backup...still need to spend some time w/ the Touchpad tho but ya I glad I was able to get it...this is the steal of the century...I don't even feel bad paying $200 for it...

Man this shit is tough...it has some lil bells + whistles that I like...this what the tablet game needed...it reminds me of when the original ugly ass bulky white iPod was megapopular and I refused to buy it cuz of the price and limited features and that's how I stumbled upon Archos mp3 players which were far more superior @ the time just didn't have the name/hype...it's still kinda early but the only thing that holding the Touchpad back is the lack of apps @ this point...for me so far it's fine but my tastes are simple the iPad has apps that appeal to many ppl thru out all walks of life and shit but I am very pleased w/ my purchase
Yo at $200 for the hardware it has it is worth every penny. App selection isn't the greatest but i use mine primarily for web browsing/ email. With flash alone it shits on the ipad. Make sure you sign up with box.net for 50gb free storage for life, even though they just changed the limit you can upload to 100mb per file.
Compared to iBooks I'm not impressed w/ pReader @ all...epubs are not showing up formatted correctly and you have to hit the arrows @ the bottom to turn pages...no simple page swipe I tired now...tomorrow I'll try to instal preware again so I can check out Comicshelf HD...I already hearing complaints that you have to restart the Touchpad each time you load a comic...hope that's not true...I really want to like this tab

Not true at all. Comics show up without a restart, after you have preware loaded. Once you install preware, any worries will be erased.

If and when the touchdroid drops, i don't even think i'm going to root it. I said before that unless it's a dual boot, I won't do it, but even with a dual boot, I feel the hardware will be working extra hard to emulate Android and thus cause the battery to take a hit and not work as well as it currently does. I keep my TP on/on standby and I only charge every few days and it has power. I fear that when the touchdroid root drops, the battery power won't be as long lasting.
Initially, But as they improve the ROM's they always even out. Those dudes at XDA are sick with it. All the same, I just put mine on Craigslist for $250 w/ Case and some Bobo beats headphones. If I get someone to Bite I'm gonna jump on a used Xoom. This OS is too restrictive for my tastes.
Don't get me wrong, even at $200 it's a great deal and works well. but when you get down to it, WebOS is the worst of both IOS and Android. Restrictive OS and Limited APP market.
For what I use it for, the "lack of apps" doesn't bother me....I use it primarily as a comic reader, web browser and for playing a few simple games...webOS, is by far my favorite and the most stable OS I have used between IOS, (my brothers iPad 2) Android (my phone) and webOS (my TP)......it has NEVER frozen or crashed on me...EVER.
Yeah, there are a shit load of apps on IOS and Android, but how many apps do you really use on a daily basis?
