The one I have is comparable to the Champion. I have a Hurom. I ended up drinking alot more juice then what people on the raw food forums did cause I wouldnt feel full. My suggestion is like someone said do a salad or eat and apple.
Now if you want to go in. Grab some almonds and some raisins. Will kill your hunger.
Someone talked about the amount of juice yielded and if you get a cheap juicer your pulp will be wet and you miss alot of juice.
If you are on a budget I suggest getting something that does smoothies cause you wont be a waste where as them $70 juicers are not good for 'real' juicing. There is a cooks blender at walmart thats like $40 I think my chick got me one and its great. Makes individual cups. When I did it for the summer I burnt out 2 juicers in 2 months. Said let me go in foreal. Way better juice way more juice.
Wont lie this has made me be like damn. I was in the best shape of my life 2 summers ago.
Oh if you have a local farmers market go there Im telling you you will get a bag of apples for like maybe $3-$5 that you can use for the week.
Here in Jville
Carrots bag is $1
Celery $1
Cucumbers 3 for $1
Ginger - cheap lol
I use alot of apples as a base cause never had any sugar issues. By the way one of the reason why juicing is so good cause your body doesnt have to break anything down. This is why its highly recommended for the sick cause your body doesnt have to work.
Anyways maybe we should get a group together and do it up.
