unemployed military get yo asses in here!!!!

Man this post is right on time. I'm so close to retirement I can taste it. I've have been considering waiting on this MSG/E8 list (which no one seems to have seen yet) and doing a couple past 20. I'm leaning more and more to retiring and making that paper.

Weigh your options before you decide to do your thing.

:lol:You're damn right!!! I got almost 10 months of unemployment after I got out and didn't look for work for another 2 months afterwards.

Yea My friend did the same thing. He got $1700 a month for almost a year straight. That's a lot of loot for a young kid. That's rent, car payment, etc. I wish I could lay around for a year and not worry about anything.

nah actually........i didn't work hard at all. they gave me a crew of locals. i was like a supervisor. u right on the hours tho. but what else can u do in iraq????????? was pretty boring to me. i was in charge of refuling vehicles. no experience.:dance::dance:

where were u at?...im still in and thats my job in the air force I have another 2 years but I'll palace chase to get that money bein deployed aint shit to me

simple, get your certs (mcse, ccnp), get your clearance (itt is good for the clearance), know your shit = 200+k

I spend one year with ITT, constantly studying for my certs, got my ccna and 2/3 of the ccnp done before I found out they fukked up on my clearance paperwork. I used that as a excuse to come home finished the ccnp even took my ccie written, hit the bootcamp in Dallas and got a call whn obama send troops into afghan. people dont realize that mre troop means more civs too.

So chit I took a over @ 235 to go back, fukk it why not. but it is 7x12 to get that but its not like you go hard all 12 hours

i keep talking about a ccna class to help you guys out but from what ive seen bgol cats are not serious about chit but complaining

Damn you back over there cuzzo? I'm with GDIT on Fort Gordon getting prepared for this CCNA. Working on that MCSE too.

If they just got out the military they're not looking for work. They get a gauranteed 6 months of Unemployment.

Believe it or not some people would rather work than to take unemployment. If the opportunity comes that allows you to work as soon as you ETS, take full advantage.;)

I'm curious which if any of these companies are actively hiring civilians with no military experience

I was looking at the Air Force, but I don't want to be committed to being in the service... I have a degree in Business, but they could have me do pretty much anything long as the pay is right, cause I already know its gonna be as boring as being in jail
