This is not in support of the Democratic Party.
And this isn't meant to be against the Republican Party.
BUT,
I couldn't help but recall in the aftermath of 9-11 how many, a LARGE many, in the Republican Party were quick to label those who:
- Opposed their views on Iraq;
- Opposed their views on personal surveillance in the U.S.; and/or
- Supported anti-war causes;as Un-American and/or Un-Patriotic.
Now, is it fair (if its ever fair) to label as un-American and/or un-Patriotic those who vigorously oppose President Obama's various stimulus measures and refuse to accept any benefit therefrom to the detriment of many of the people they represent, districts that they claim to serve and, perhaps, the nation as a whole
? ? ?
If the shoe was on the other foot, would the Republicans be yelling un-American and/or Un-Patriotic if the Democrats were doing to them what they are now doing to the Democrats
? ? ?
