The first time I ever saw Mark the 45 King was in the intro for Queen Latifah's Dance for Me video, on Yo MTV Raps. I didn't understand why he had 45 King in his name at that time lol. I remember buying the Flavor Unit Album on cassette just off the strength of the Roll With the Flavor video.

Shout out to all the Jersey artist and producers, they are often overlooked and don't get their proper respect.

RIP, a sad day for hiphop :smh:

Sha-Rock and Grandmaster Cas were just speaking about him on their show on SiriusXM Rock the Bells Radio. He told Sha-Rock he'd been on drugs pretty hard in the 90s. He wanted to get back into the industry, but was blacklisted by many people he'd put on or worked with previously.
