How does he make money from galleries like he claimed on combat jack show ?

Sell the art in said gallery.

Don't Dame still have ownership of the "REASONABLE DOUBT" masters?

Maybe people conspiring to keep him financially fucked-off. Maybe hoping to get the "masters" on the cheap.

I have seen interviews where "gay-z" stated he really wants to own the masters.

Yeah, he should charge him 100 million.

I like dame, mabey 'cause im an asshole.

you'd think dame pissed in these posters' cereal...pathetic

The sheer enjoyment that some of you cats seem to get out of seeing someone fail is hilarious.

Comical isn't it?

Let it be Obama or Jay who's just as arrogant ( see gif below:rolleyes:), and we're hating, crabs, watching another nigga's cash, etc. etc.

Dame was a dick but represented and sold the Roc to the fullest. He lived, eat, drank and inhaled the Roc for the benefit of his artists.

Bunch of dumbfucks when Jay said "I'm over charging niggas for what they did to the Cold Crush" how the fuck do you think it was getting done?:hmm:

Maybe Dame loved the Roc too much.

It's funny how people look at folks like Dame Dash and Don King in a negative light. Yet they praise people like Clive Davis, Tommy Mottola, and the Bob Arums of the world.

WHO praises Bob Arum?

WHO praises Clive Davis. Please show me one place where he's mentioned in a positive light EVER

WHO Praises Tommy Motolla?

You just totally pulled that outta your ass:lol::lol::lol:

yall cling to that story, one day it may be true.

Anyway, all Dame has to do is LOVE something else as much as he did the ROC. Shit, he's had 10 years to do it.

Whaddya think is the difference between now andf then?

If it's just us people from far away who think Dame is a grade A douche, then surely the REAL industry people somewhere should give him a shot...

but in what industry?

He's a guy who at the very least when he left the ROC, he had millions to play with.

he coulda used those smarts, drive, determination, WAY AHEAD thinking (as he puts it) and should definitely be in the Black by now

But he seems to be in the red... what do you think happened?

Black people like you just don't get it... and fuck them counting money like they they the shit (in the gif). We celebrate wealth and fuckery and all the bullshit that makes us better then just being black people- to white people- and you think it's bc people are crabs in a barrel. I swear... mediocre nigga's invented the phrase player hatting just to keep real mofo's from calling them out like they should. Ain't nobody basking in this cats misery about being broke... but at the same time fuck him... and Jay Z too for not having enough sense to not sensationalize his relationship with the president for props (y'all gone learn today). When you and these mistral show ass nigga's you stand up for start to get that we can't do business the same way they do business then we'll stop getting fucked over twice as much as everyone else in every deal.

Hip-hop mogul Damon Dash may be facing a mountain of legal troubles, but he’s not letting deep debt throw him off his game, he told the Daily News in an exclusive interview.

“I can’t touch my money. I can’t pay certain bills,” Dash said in a wide-ranging talk on Saturday. “But I’m still working every day. It’s not stopping me from hustling. I am an entrepreneur. I am real.”

Dash, 42, vowed to pay back more than $100,000 he owes on a sprawling mansion in suburban Putnam County.

He said he moved out at the end of March because he couldn’t take the frigid weather — but he also faces eviction, according to court documents he filed Tuesday.

“I’m in transition. I’ve been moving around on business,” he said. “It’s too cold to be upstate in the wintertime.”

The woman who said she rented out the luxurious Golf Ridge Road, Carmel, home to Dash said he left on amicable, but indebted, terms — $160,000 in back rent.

“He’s a nice person,” said Shlomit Schonberger. “He just doesn’t have money. He’s very talented and friendly. I hope he makes it.”

Schonberger said Dash, who lived in the house for about three years, left a massive landscape portrait on the mantel.

“That's Damon’s,” she said, pointing to the painting. “He said he will come get it someday.”

Pay no attention to that pic man. That's just one frame and they used the worst one they could find. Pictures are rarely useful for anything when papers have anything to do with it. It's an editorial. It's MEANT to make him look broke.

Dame should still own +20% of the Rachel Roy Fashion/Collection... plus points on Rihanna, etc... oh well

despite all of this - I would still fuck with Dash for business

Ive literally never heard Tommy Mottola or Bob Arum ever praised. Clive Davis has been praised by a few misguided proteges but he is widely recognized as a snake. They all one in the same in my book.

I don't like braggin assholes, especially to the level that he did it. Theres a reason people laugh at some peoples demise, and feel for others.

perspective tho. compared to people in abject poverty, you (more than likely) are living like a king and i'm sure that they can look at you and find some of you actions and attitude to certain things wasteful and arrogant. idgaf, but some of yall seem to be taking personal enjoyment over some guy you don't know as if yall were business partners or somethin.

Well said. Act and spend like an ass ... eventually you'll end up assed out when you're no longer atop the money mountain.

Two words.....Kenny Burns!!!! Thats exactly what he did......then again I heard Burns went to Morris Brown for a quick minute back in the day so he was already familiar with the ATL scene.

It's funny you bring up KB. I remember in Kenny's documentary, he spoke on how Dame tried to fuck him over with Ryan Kenny. About 23 minutes in

Now I know his broke isn't most of BGOL broke. But dude was on that Combat Jack Podcast just a few weeks ago saying how great he is doing.

http://thecombatjackshow.com/show/the-damon-dash-episode/

This shit was in the news then, and them ass kissing dudes aint say shit. :hmm:

he was JUST on the COmbat Jack podcast yappin about some oil company he has, all these art galleries, several magazines, and shittin on Just Blaze about some stupid authentic Jersey bullshit.

I told yall a long time ago this dude hasn't changed.

As soon as him as Just Blaze got into it and he transformed back to "asshole mode", I knew nothing was different. Same shit.

Ain't this the crib from the Curren$y vid? I didn't know that was Dame's :smh:

I think Dame originally had this spot as a compound for all of the artist he was trying to make a new Hov with.

You obviously never watched anything he was ever arrogant as fuck in.

From where I stand there is no perspective to take making it a point to make people aware that

"I don't even wear the same socks more than once. "

Could be misunderstood. We're all just observers of what people choose to put out. This was the persona he chose to show us.

It's not like I literally took his money, shit, I've bought things I'm sure have made him money before, don't mistake this as some vendetta.

I'm not a believer in religion, karma, any of those things, but it stands to reason to me that of you treat people like shit, you may not get much sympathy or help when and if you ever need it.
To see that play out? Yeah, it warms my heart a lil bit.

Too much flossing...too much Sam Rothstein.

100% muthafuckin truth. Top 5 Jay joint. Verse 1 is all DASH. Verse 2 is B. Verse 3 is the adversity of life.

I had the pleasure of throwing some shit @ Dame years ago at his former crib in BH at the after party for The Woodmans for which he was involved.

I see this bootsy cat in interviews years later pushing that idea. And it failed from his approach. He tried to cut out the middleman without knowledge. Fuckin snake ! Thats why his ACE in the sleeve Jay aint backing his bullshit.

Dame is A HOLLYWOOD ass nigga that think he aint Hollywood because he from NY. Phony niggaz get exposed.

Living that true island life. No bailouts.
