This... First thing I did in Jamaica was ask our guide to take us to an authentic joint. We were in Ocho Rios and he took us to a spot right around the corner from his families property. Spot was built around a big ass tree. The sauces were brought out in a bottle, but you didnt even need it. Shit was delicious, but it's just smoked chicken with really good spices. Certain types of wood were used. But the shit has nothing to do with sauce that chicken spots slather on it in America.
