man i just watch them win it and its crazy how the best athlete on the team rarely gets mentioned

they keep mentioning wieber as a hero
the other girl as the leader

but not the girl who keeps scoring better than all those devils

hell even in the team picture they had their best gymnast on the end...she should be in the middle

gabby should be on every cereal box in america when she comes home but it will be one of her cac teammates who will make millions off of her hard work
 
I'm glad i read this post. I watched the event and it's good to see others are just as irate as I was. How little press or mention she got tonight, yet scored 1st or second in every event. Clearly the reason they won, but when it was time for the team hug she wasn't even apart of it till the end.
 
Make no mistake when the All Around starts, she is gonna be scored harsher then everybody, and we don't know any better so were gonna have to take the announcers words for it. But they don't want her to win either so were fucked.

She doesn't think its an insult because she is too young to ever have seen Rocky and Bullwinkle on TV. Some old ass CAC coach or parent gave her the name...Why does she have to have a pet name of an animal? They never did that shit to Dominique "Awesome Dawesome" Dawes nor Betty Okino, two other black Olympic gymnasts. Tell me why that is...I'll wait.

Also, if anyone has actually seen the scores from last night's team GOLD MEDAL performance, Gabby DID score the highest all-around. It was her (Gabby) who LED the team to GOLD.... CACs kill me. :angry:

Man I caught that biased bullshit on tv and found myself getting irritated w/o even realizing it. Had to stop and catch myself. I was at the damn asian spa gettin' my chill on and had to remember not to fuck up my relaxation time b/c I knew what the fuck was going on and that shit irked me.
 
I didn't like how they talked about what Wieber didn't do, versus what the other two including Gabby did do. That became a bigger story.

Then they made the story how Wieber overcame her disappointment to lead the team.

It's not just Gabby, but the team is a reflection of the united states with a asian and a latina, but they seem to boost up the white chick even in losing. Granted it's a stupid rule, but still. Nobody would have complained that much if it was another American on the outside looking in.

I've known about Gabby for a minute, she got attention during the Nationals, but she's also from Va Beach.
