You ever say hello to a CAC and........

This is why I brought my black ass home to dc.

Its a mind game.......dont let them win my friend.

They win if you stop speaking to people and change who you are.;)

Or let it show that it bothers you...stand taller than that mane.

You will really fuck em up if you call him by name..that aint ass kissin.

Fuck with his head a lil bit.;)

85% of people are full of shit...remember this and you will be fine.

True. I get this from sisters all the time.

Bitches don't count...they think the shit is cute.

They just look at you like you didn't say shit and keep walkin? I work in a professional environment so there are all kinds of walks of life here. This shit trips me out though. I be wantin to just snap and say Cracca you ain't shit! Funny thing is, out of approx 600 employees only 2 people in the building have more seniority than me. CAC's aint shit...does this ever happen to yall?
if they dont say syht why the fuss? i just keep it moving. i say hello to anybody black hispanic or white. sometimes when i say it to a few chickenheads around my way, they think im trying to holla at them when im just being polite. there are other times when i say hello to a few people they say nothing or they say hello back. i dont lose sleep over petti bullsyht like this.

I'm like Leroy Soup Nutz where I will generally speak to a person 2 to 3 times without a response.
After the third time speaking and you don't reply in courtesy, I won't speak to your monkey ass anymore there after.
With white people it's the opposite where on the job whites will speak and try to hold a conversation.
When I see them on the street outside of the job and greet them they act like they don't see or hear me greeting them and keep walking by.
The next day on the job the same whites will be like "OH Hi Bluelaser..How's it Going!"
I told this one guy that I saw you yesterday and greeted you on the street and you did'nt speak.
He then gave me this response "REALLY!" "Are you Suurrre! "I must've been on my cell."
In my mind I'm saying "You'ze A MudduhFuckin Lie!" So I give him the benefit of the doubt even though I know he's full of shit.
A couple of days passed and I saw the same white guy from my job going to the store and I greeted him in passing by saying "Hello mr. xxxx" but this time I said it louder.
Once again he looked straight ahead and breezed pass my ass like I was'nt even there.
So I said to myself "Aint that a bitch" I then looked back over my shoulder and said "Aiighht!, Aiigght!" loud enough so he could hear it and to let him know "Muughfucka I know you heard Me!"
The next day on the job I saw the same guy come walking my way with this smile on his face.
When he got about 4 yards in front of me he said "Hi!" I then looked him up and down and mean mugged his ass with an expression that said "Tha Fuck You Speaking To!"
I'm good enough to speak to on the job but on the street you can't be seen speaking to the "Neeegro" so don't say shit to me on the job as well.

Basically. I remember being young like 8-9 or so and walking w/ my pops and he said hi to some old white man sitting on his steps the CAC ain't even look @ him. Pops kept it moving and laughed and asked me would I believe him if he told me that was a "friend" from the job. Lesson learnt.

It has happened occasionally, but actually, I get that from black people sometimes, and that actually hits me harder. On the street I can understand not really responding to somebody you don't know, but I was working at a university a few years back, and walking down the hallway near my office if I passing someone, I'd sometimes say hi, hello, what's up, give a head nod or whatever, especially if the hallway was empty except for us... just to be polite.

In that situation, more often than not, white people would say hi back... black guys, usually would at least head nod back... black females though... like 6 out of 10 times they'd look right past me like wasn't there. That kinda hurt because this was a small school (Monmouth University in NJ) and it's like damn, aint but a hundred of us black people on this campus... might as well acknowledge each other's presence...

Ya once you stop taking it personal you do realize it's just people black and white @ the job who act like that.

i work at a place where upper management (cac) didnt speak to me for the first 6 months. in fact they would pass me in the hallways and avoid eye contact so they wouldnt have to speak. someone said it in an earlier post that its in there culture and i think it is. racism is a part of there culture.

Can't call it. I don't speak to niggas in public. This is as far as I go on here. I speak many people in public just avoid niggas at all cost. They live nowhere near me and its' peaceful that way.
