They just look at you like you didn't say shit and keep walkin? I work in a professional environment so there are all kinds of walks of life here. This shit trips me out though. I be wantin to just snap and say Cracca you ain't shit! Funny thing is, out of approx 600 employees only 2 people in the building have more seniority than me. CAC's aint shit...does this ever happen to yall?

I'ma tell you exactly how I handle it. I say hello/good morning a total of 3 times and if I get the same no response I stop speaking to that person period. Not even on some mad shit but just hey I talk you don't respond this is gonna stop. And I hold true to that and don't say anything to them. Now I won't stop speaking to all the CACs cause there are some respectful ones that way they see I'm not mad @ everyone on the job I just recognize that the few who don't speak are assholes. And when they see you being nice and shit w/ the "friendly" CACs but they see you ignoring them most times they recognize ok maybe I was being an asshole and trust me they will speak to you to the point where you wish that they wouldn't. Now there are some CACs who will never speak to you @ all. I don't see what the problem is that's a good thing. Worse thing for me is a phony ass smile in the morning when I'm still cranky. :lol: Only once did the shit get "extra" when this white bitch who never said anything back and so I put her on mental ignore then she would start grilling me cause she thought I was on some Bryant Gumbel shit and had it in her mind she was tougher than me and thought I was afraid of her but I'd still ignore her then one day this bitch passed me from the rear so I couldn't see her to get out of her way and shouldered me. But I kept it cool. But that same day we was in the workroom alone and I looked around and just walked up to her and gave her a look like bitch if this was a dark alley I'd rape the shit outta you (now mind you I would never do anything like that I was just fuckin w/ her) then just as I got close to her I made a detour and got a soda from the vending machine. :lol: Some other white coworkers came in @ that moment I said hi they responded and we talked for a while. Ever since then that bitch don't even wait for me to say 'hi' she say 'hi' all cheery and shit as soon as she see me. I don't even care if she said hi or not cause I really don't like talking to her but when she bumped me that pissed me off. That type of "hostility" is unnecessary in a professional environment.
 
Then the next time you see they cracka ass...they be like "Heeeeeeeeeeeeeey dude...how R ya?"

Only for some of them. But yes the 2 times I worked in a predominantly white environment there's always a few white people who will play the ignore game w/ you. I just do the same thing back to them. The key is don't be all anti-social and think all the CACs on the job are like that cause they are not. Once they see that you are cool w/ black and white coworkers they will realize the problem isn't you but them and they get embarrassed because other people will realize it too.

i live with all cac's and i been stop saying shit to them... they are great to live around but are faker than a 3 dollar bill!

yeah they think that they can fuckin speak to you whenever THEY feel like it and on their terms so like my man said above I stop speaking to the mofos period including my racists ass neighbors...funny actin mofos...but the sad shit about it is that they are going to keep acting that way as long as there are ass kissing, bootlickin, yessir massa black people that continue to kiss their asses....u see that shit a lot down here in NC and i'm not accustomed to that shit....real talk....
 
that happens more up north then in the south from what i see. in ohio people just don't talk, period. but in north cac they'll not only say hi they'll hold a convo for hours if you let them.
 
my short time in corporate america has taught me many things. one of them is that white guys treat greetings like military salutes. not only do they think they're officers, they think they can be shitty officers. you approach each other in the hallway and expect you to say hello to them with zero expectation that they should say hello to you in response. having them initiate the hello is heretic. once they get into that pattern i just stop saying hello at all. that's when they complain to your boss that you aren't being friendly enough, not being hostile, nut being unfriendly, but not being friendly enough. they feel entitled to receive friendliness but never give it. they treat this lack of excess friendliness as if it's plain old hostility. this is despite the fact that he's outwardly hostile to you whenever a white female intern or secretary half his age makes small talk with you in the lunch room. his real hostility is ignored while your imagined hostility is responded to several times a day.

Nope that's why it's important you flip it on them by still remaining friendly w/ the respectable CACs (if there are any) @ the job that way not only does he/she come off as being "hostile" but possibly racist too. Cause if they see you talking to everybody on the job white black etc. and they see that you and that guy don't speak they'll look @ it as his fault. The only drawback to that is they start talking to you all phony and shit which makes you wish you could go back to not speaking to them. :lol:

Dood i'm an artist. I been around all kinds of folks since i was lil. I grew up on da soufside of chicago. We was on some Goonie's type shit. White, black, latino, asian, etc.

From preschool-6th grade i went to an all black private baptist skool. I chose to transfer and go to da public skool right by da crib, not only cuz it was were alot of mah homies from around da crib went but i like bein around ALL KINDS of people.

Mah core group of close friends are from all backgrounds. We got niggas str8 from da block to a cats from Germany and Oman. One of mah closest friends on da planet is white. :dunno:

I could care less bout wat a mufucka look like. If dey cool peoples it's all good. Bein as i work in da art/entertainment field all da prejudice shit is thrown out da fuckin window cuz we all relate by way of our love for art.

I ain't livin in no fuckin bubble son. Mothafucka all dat.

MY TAKE IS THAT IT'S JUST THE DIFFERENCES IN CULTURE.
I used to say good morning to everyone as I walked past them, realizing that many of the other persuasion would not acknowledge you, let alone take the initiative... so I just said fuck it, and slide on by, don't don't hae an issue with it, so neither do I, just had to realize it was intrensic in their way of doing things.
