at this point...i'm of the mindset that...not only do we need to vote...but we need to be pickin' the candidate that is gonna be runnin' on our behalf...and fundin' his/her campaign...and then showin' up in massive numbers to vote for him/her...
and we should start locally..with mayors...city council members..judges...sheriffs..etc..
and make sure we are involved in the hosting of the polling locations...and in the counting of the votes...so they can't steal our elections....
and a lot of members of the legislative branch...city, state, and federal..are runnin' for re-election unopposed...they have no competition..
they don't even have to campaign...that's why we have the same congressmen in office..year after year after year...

Is for black people to stick together and build a economic base. After you build a economy base then you fill your politicians pockets with money.
And if your not going to build a economic base then you use leverage, you become a swing voter. You tell a politician that unless they start bringing tangibles to the table we are not voting.
