Once I had his tracks off SNL I felt it was all a little forced. The album ain't that bad but it's not that original as some people seem to think. Dude's been taking a lot from the underground scene, this sound really isn't anything new unless you just listen to the mainstream.​

I recognize when artists are trying to stretch their music and try different things, I'm an Outkast fan. This isn't that. This is throwing shit at the wall and seeing how many people will say "That's art!".

So far, just an okay album on my first listen.

It's the only one that matters to me.
While I can talk about whatever I choose, I don't consider my less than a handful of posts on 12 pages "living" in the thread.
If you love it and Kanye's dirty draws, fine, knock yourself out. I don't care for it and apparently, I'm not alone. Why my opinion offends you so much is something you need to work out.

Why? What's courageous about saying you like work from a popular, if polarizing, artist?
Why is it impossible for you to believe that some people, some of West fans from way back, don't care for his current work?

I've been a fan since the "I'm Good" mixtape.. Hated his last venture into experimentation with 808's, but IMO, and in the overall consensus he hit the mark with this one.. Don't agree?.. Hit the delete button, and move on..
 
Just gave the album another listen and I'm starting to warm up to it
Still not his best album and people need to slow down with calling it a classic.
Still a decent record
 
Shit is just a decent album at best.

Has to grow on me. Nothing really stands out in my opinion, but as a Kanye fan who loves 808s and Heartbreak, I like the album, but this is no classic

i like the album, don't really see why dudes are calling it horrible, although dudes alluding to it being a classic are over-reaching too.
 
just off of one listen most of this album felt like filler.

will listen to it in my whip a couple times to see if my mind changes but I doubt it

Kanye is easily rap's most fascinating character. That's no secret on BGOL or anywhere else. I'm not sure why you're acting like you just made a revelation.

After listening to this album leak via podcast then again legit I don't see what the fuss is about. As in the level of negative fuss. It's polarizing but I see people get upset when others say they like it.

On another note I need to upgrade my speakers for this shit! Damn near blew out my speakers on a few tracks. Album is fiyah!!!

i listened once at work and then once on the big system at home. I don't need to hear it again to know i don't like it.
