Yeah, speechless just like I thought CAC...

Todd Bridges probably see it all.
But how can we make shows like this,
and expect a WHOLE country to change?

Wow....never seen this shit before....
Just....wow....
A lot to unpack....

I thought it was 'Gunsmoke' (Lil' Joe, played by Michael Landon) but he was also in 'Lil' House'.
It's from 'Little House On The Prairie', episode called " The Wisdom of Solomon ":

Yearning to escape the hard life that sent his father to an early grave, the young son of poor, black Mississippi sharecroppers makes his way to Walnut Grove and offers to sell himself to the Ingalls' family in exchange for an education.

It fits the profile; a TV show from the 1970s, written by white people born in the early 1900s depicting life in America during the 1800s.

This could never be on tv today

I watched the Jefferson's the other day and Tom Willis admitted that he thinks to call his black wife ****** but he loves her.

On 'The Chi' the kids call each other nnnnnn damn near every episode. (it's cable tho)
Proof all this accepting our use of nnnnnn talk today is just our people moving backwards (thinking like am 1800s orphan).

totally different situations and circumstances.

you almost have me asking for a hand check....

Live to be 50 as a white man or 100 as a black man... white boy had to walk it off...if i got a choice in it im sticking with my 100... i love being me...

I'm just talking about the word being said on TV.
Of course it was an expression of self hate in 'Prairie'.
I never liked it being used in contemporary life (TV/movie/music or in real life) despite the claim of "we're taking the word back".
To me the only good thing with the current situation is the 'Catch 22" it presents;
while Black use of the word flies around CAC use often gets them jammed up.

no hand check needed - just another perspective.

White folks wouldn't want to live 5,000 years as a black man and they know it.
