As we approach the election, the goal for them isn't to defend Trump or even pretend that he is fit to be president. Their goal is to make it a case of "both sides" are bad and why even waste your time paying attention or voting. It is the reverse cargo myth...Its worse. The Daily Show got to pick and choose the idiots they wanted to show, to give yall the false sense of liberal intellectual superiority.
Meanwhile, on live TV, two people who we all assume to be of above average intelligence, and yall rely on to keep you informed (a NYT journalist and a long time TV journalist) agreed with a OBVIOUS error without thinking twice.

To answer your second question first, the premise that "y'all think Trump supporters are dumb" supposes that you do not. If you do not think Trump supporters are dumb then you must subscribe to what Trump - hence the current administration stands for, principally a disregard for facts, science, truth and the general welfare of all citizens. If you can't see that from your post then maybe you should reevaluate the political realm. Now to your first point Welcome that's what we love here!!

trump is unfit to be POTUS and should’ve been removed. trump is good for two things:
1) making funny tweets/nicknaming his opposition
2) dropping the truth when the average politician would lie (ironically, trump lies about 95% of his “accomplishments” but 5% will tell the truth about government corruption and spending as well as let out strategy and classified information to the public)
the 5% of what he gives doesn’t make him fit to be POTUS but it makes him a better fit than Joe Biden who only a fool would vote for unless they are an immigrant, woman, or in the LGBT club)
And that is the reality. All the “defending trump” is misdirection because he ain’t shit and neither is anyone the democrats are running for POTUS.
