The Sun circulates one of the southern latitudes of the earth. Don't think of the globular models though. Remember this is a FLAT EARTH...
The Earth is big enough for the absence of Sun in your area to cause night. In addition, the moon circulates on the same latitude as the Sun (although I think it may often be slightly higher in elevation).
Oh, almost forgot. The Earth is STATIONARY, so Sun, Moon, Stars and everything else revolves around Earth...
