Y’all Siding with Chuck D or Flav?

Griff Chimes in and basically agrees with Flav.

Chuck just say it's YOU endorsing Bernie, don't speak for the group.

LOL @ you thinking Flav actually wrote those tweets. The person who wrote those tweets is the same (white) person who thought that "Cease and Desist" order was a good idea..

Some of 'yall probably also 'believe the hype' that Flav really is a concert pianist who has mastered 10 instruments and speaks multiple languages fluently. Notice that "he" has tweeted just as many times during that two minute span as he has in all of 2020 COMBINED.

:roflmao2:

lol...i know he has ghost writers but still all facts tho...lol

He's not a concert pianist but he can play. Flav is fairly talented and isn't a dummy by any means. Nothing tweeted or said otherwise is beyond what we know to be Flavs intelligence level. He's never been dumb. Just an addict. "Cease and desist" is not deep shit, especially for someone who's prolly had his share of lawsuits.

And like the other guy says, it's all facts.

I never called him dumb. Chuck D never called him dumb. Nobody in this thread ever called him dumb. But keep fighting the one straw man that only YOU created.
:superman1:
Public Enemy Radio is on tour constantly, but Flavor Flav has not performed with Chuck D since 2016. If not for the intentional public embarrassment of an otherwise meaningless "Cease and Desist" none of this would have gone public. Flav legally doesn't own shit connected to PE and no one ever mentioned or thought about him. This controversy is only "deep shit" because Flav and his "people" (my guess: business mgr/white baby mama #10) made PE private business public for whatever short sighted reason (my guess: antipication of a future Trump check).

Even his children would agree that Flavor Flav is unfortunately a 60 year old version of the same addict in 2020 he was in 2010 he was in 2000 he was in 1990. Sometimes problematic dead weight becomes too much to keep carrying... and carrying... and carrying. And like the other guy says, it's all facts.

Bruh we see what you wrote. Congrats on learning the word "straw man", now learn what it actually is.

Note, I didn't directly CALL YOU dumb, but I IMPLIED it. Just like you did.

Oh look, ya just learned another word.

Public Enemy’s Chuck D Says Flavor Flav’s Firing Was Just a Prank

Look, look, look: There’s a camera. And there’s a camera. And there’s a camera right there. You’re on a prank show! If you don’t remember signing up, it’s because you didn’t. Chuck D and Flavor Flav took it upon themselves to pull a little hoax on the public by pretending to split up in order to promote Enemy Radio’s latest project, Loud Is Not Enough. With its release perfectly timed to April Fools’ Day, the jig is apparently up. Chuck D explained their master plan in a pre-recorded interview on Uproxx’s podcast People’s Party. “We already talked about this beforehand,” he explained. “Public Enemy Radio went up [at a Bernie Sanders rally]. His lawyer sent out a cease and desist. I’m like, ‘Good move.’ Then, publicly: ‘Man, you don’t fuckin’ sue me again.’ He ain’t suin’ me. But I can say it!”

The Twitter back-and-forth and the fight’s escalation — Chuck D firing Flavor Flav from Public Enemy — was all part of the plan. (“You can’t fire partners,” the rapper clarifies.) He and Flav had been both working on the Enemy Radio release since the end of February and collaborate on the single “Food As a Machine Gun.” “I’m not sayin’ it’s a hoax, I’m sayin’ that the original intention is to get your attention and not play attention, but get you to pay attention,” he said on the podcast, later adding “We takin’ April Fools’. We takin’ it over. It’s April Flav Chuck Day.” Frankly, for scamming the music world with the same promotional feud as Mike & Ikes, they can have April Fools’ Day. Thought it was canceled this year anyway.

He's lying!
DJ Premier even said he stopped talking to Chuck D after THIS!
He sued BIG's estate for a mill and won.
3:20 "They ain't know Premier did it"
How do you not know Primo did the beat a year AFTER the album dropped,
It's was Primo's beat!

Primo said they spoke for the first time at
Chris Lighty's funeral.

not saying that you wrong but a lot of these artists dont know the business.
they will think is one thing but its not.
primo might have thought CD was behind it then, but it could be other people.

for example Remy ma thought fat joe was blocking her not knowing that it was his bosses who made all the decisions.
but she didnt know the business then. thats why they cool now.

True.
But What Primo said was that
Chuck didn't like how Biggie took his vocals
and put it on a song about selling crack.
When he was ALWAYS making songs about positivity and uplifting black people.

Nope you're wrong. Primo put Chuck D's voice on a record about crack, and did not clear it. Can't have the rules apply only when you want them to. Primo should have cleared that sample, simple as that.

Shit like this is why Jeru, De La Soul, Pharoah all have CLASSIC material, that they cant get paid for, due to uncleared samples.

True.
you can always clear a sample after. Shit, anytime!
Generally speaking,
what if the sample was cleared.
would Chuck have gotten a mill plus on the back end.
Life after death went 10 plat
