After looking at this on the broad spectrum…..
I’m going to put my lawyer hat on for this….
The FTC knows they are going to lose this case… they knew they were going to lose this when they filed their original complaint last year..
This is about the next major merger… they are trying to show the next big player this is how far we are willing to go. They want to look at stopping the next google YouTube play.
Sometimes government lawyers will do this… I’ve experienced this in criminal cases where the DA is coming harder for my client when they weren’t doing it before.

My reaction when I'm reading through all this testimony about the gaming industry:
If Microsoft wins this case are they under any obligation to allow they're games, including COD, to be on Playstation since Sony has clearly tried to fuck them and refused to make a deal ensuring they remained on Playstation?
