Haven't been playing my xbox b/c my power block to my Q80T blew. Repair guys had to come and fix it yesterday. How does a new tv malfunction...I've barely have had time to break it in. Plus it's plugged into a UPS along with all the other expensive AV shit. . My 2009 Sony still going.

I was able to get a Series X last year and it was delivered before Xmas. Now I am wanting another. I keep checking but I saw it is still hard to get. I just don't have the energy to do the click trick again. Guess I'll wait it out.

I would say Xbox due to the Ultimate Game Pass option since it would allow him/her the option of playing so many games and finding out what he/she likes.
