Take the "top selling video game on steam" rhetoric with a grain of salt.
That is ubisoft trying to satiate their investors.
On Steam DB, this game has not cracked 70k players worldwide.

In comparison, the new monster hunter cracked 1 million right after it was released.
The 2 million players are people who are using subscription programs not people who are buying the game.
Ubisoft is going to be sold off or downsized this year.
When they sell of IPs to microsoft we will get them in gamepass. That is a good thing.
