Fuck a PC gaming community. I know 3 people personally who play PC games...I know 1000's on PSN and Live that's what fun about a console...My kids jump on Live/PSN and play their friends..Wife doing Zumba on the Kinect

lol that'll last about 2 months. In fact there are graphic cards out today that the PS4 or Xbox one could only dream about messing with. I think the ram that the new consoles are using are the only thing that is above PC right now. A high end PC could hang with a PS4 or maybe even punish that joint.

Thread Critic pretty much said what the average consumer is thinking. They want to play games not build a PC for thousands of dollars to play a game.

Is the graphics better? Yes. Experience? Debatable. If you calculate the ease of use and the learning curve the average consumer is going to just buy a console and call it day.

I'm just as guilty as you guys because I look down on people that go to redbox, knowing that movies and shows are free on the net. The average consumer is dumb, they want to be entertained quickly without fuss. I see your point but this isn't why people are shitting on the EA dude right now. We're shitting on him for trying to pass on bogus information to the unknowing. Trust me I've already seen messageboards full of 100% true. Guess he got his job done afterall.
 
Ive always played fifa on my gaming laptop through my tv. I went ahead and bought an Xbox with the same game. I was shocked at how poor the Xbox graphics were. I thought it was my tv at first, then a friend told me how the pc graphics are always superior to console. It's 10x better graphically, but console has more gamers.

And I get that part. He is lying (and trust me they'll try to find some way to restate or justify what he saying)....

On another note, graphics don't make a game, just like artwork in a comic doesn't negate good story telling. Think on that.....

But compare the price of your laptop to the price of an XBOX and you see why. Then you add in the fact that this XBOX has been relevant for 8 years and still has new games coming out with top notch graphics. A laptop from 8 years ago looks like this and couldn't even run the new Sim City.

Many people like me already have a decent or beast PC, but just have a lame graphics cards in them.. Id rather spend cash on a dope graphics card that cost about the same price as the XBOX One instead of buying XBOX One itself.

I'll definitely be buying PS4 from the looks of things... Sad because I loved XBOX 360 so much..

I agree with the gameplay over graphics argument through and through. I am a hardcore gamer for that reason among others. But you know damn well the way they always try to market a new console to console gamers is by trying to show them improved graphics over the previous gen. Or they show off the graphics power in some tech demo. This has been their tactic since the Playstation 1 days with the T-Rex demo on the URNotE introduction to Playstation discs they were using to promote the console.

"Show them some hot graphics and they'll buy our console."

Same here on all comments. PS4 and my PC is the way to go. I download TV shows. Fuck a cablebox. Most XBox Live Arcade games also come to PC anyway. I can miss out on Halo and Gears...especially with Destiny on the way.

Yeah, but your card will be obsolete in 6 months whereas anyone who bought a 360 in 2005 still has the premier product in the industry.
