In 3 out of the 5 links I posted FSU got the number one player in the state that year along with an assortment of highly touted prospects.


So again, where are you coming to this conclusion that FSU is getting beat out by UCF and USF for recruits . UCF and USF won't be able to beat out schools like FSU, Miami, and UF for recruits for a number of years, hell they're not even getting the top prospects in the state NOW and they never did.

2007 was the only year UF was able to clean the state because FSU and Miami had terrible seasons that year not to mention they won the national title that year.


*note top prospects in the state 2004 database was not available. But even then your point would not have been proven. FSU signed the second best prospect in the state (Xavier Lee) that year and USC signed the number one player in the state (Keith Rivers).

Sad to see all that talent wasted. He should have put the work in required to be the starting QB at Florida State. He has no one but himself to blame. I hope he can catch on somewhere though.

Weatherford was/is a better QB, I'm a FSU alum. I liked Lee a lot coming out of highschool but he just wasn't that good. Turnover prone & not clutch, he LOST that game vs. Miami this past season.

ohz I know all about his football credentials, but what we're all seeing now is a far cry of what he did in his limited time at FSU. When he was at FSU I saw flashes, now he is radiating like the sun.
