NEW YORK, New York (December 29, 2007) -- For anyone who thinks there's something scandalous going on in the photos circulating online of Miley Cyrus frolicking with a friend on a hotel floor, the "Hannah Montana" star has a message for you --" get over it.
"They're nothing bad!" the 15-year-old teen sensation told New York's Z100 radio station on Friday night.

The candid photos, which have been making the rounds online, show Miley sitting on the floor of a hotel with one of her friends getting close, goofing around and sharing a piece of candy.
But Miley maintains the snapshots are completely innocent.
"There was nothing wrong with it. It's two girls at a sleepover. And if all of a sudden that's bad, then what is the world coming to?" a frustrated Miley told Z100's Niko prior to her sold-out concert at Nassau Coliseum on Friday night.
And while the young pop star might be used to all the attention, what really upsets her is that now her friend in the photo has to deal with the unwanted attention as well.
"Honestly, I just try to keep my cool. At first, I was really upset. It really sucks to be honest. It was a friend of mine that's a normal girl and " look at me getting all upset " the worst part is she has to go to school and deal with that crap," Miley continued. "I have to deal with that anyways. I deal with it all the time."

She called the blonde girl in the photos with her "one of my best friends."
So although Miley certainly isn't letting any of the gossip get in her way, it's not something she's taking lightly.
"What I decided before I came out to L.A. and started working was the minute I didn't have fun was the minute I go home. I don't want to go home, and I don't want to not do what I do, because I love it, but this... it's Satan attacking and it's just one more thing I have to deal with. But it's not something that I'm going to let slide because I really am upset about it," she concluded.

Can't hate on Disney. How many other kids channels actually don't discriminate and have a wide ethnic variety of child stars? Hell, what other kids channel has a positive black cartoon series like "The Proud Family".

Hey FAM, I don't watch any of the Disney shows with my kids but I decided one day to see what all the fuss was about Hannah Montana. My wife explained that she was a high school student who was a rock star in disguised. She wanted a normal life so no one know she was the famous Hannah Montana except a few friends. Well, i thought this might be an interesting hook.
I made the mistake of watching one episode and I was hooked. Go ahead clown me if you want, it's a cute little show that's entertaining. Remember, I used to watch ALF so you can excuse this too.
I love the show but I cannot for the life of me understand her music appeal. She cannot sing if you ask me. She was on Oprah and the made a big deal out of it. It;s just a novice that will run its course.
I wish they could have done something like this with KeKe Palmer.

Out of all the black cartoons C-Bear and jamal, The pj's (not really for children), and class of 3,000 are really good shows. Gullah Gullah Island deserves honorable mention.
I love cartoon that's all that I watch I'am a huge fan of good animation so when I'am watching shows on disney like American Dragon or kim possible. I'll catch glimpse of show like Hannah Montana and That's so raven. Those shows are horrible. The writing is really bad. The actors and directors don't understand comedy. The only live show that i watch that's aimed at children is Unfabulous on nick (show is really smart and funny) and Degrassi on the N(soap opera for teens).
Kid's are alot smarter than what alot of people think they are. And people also forget that animated shows are written by adults so there's alot of adult humor hidden in the shows that parent's don't always catch.
One of my new favorite shows is Chowder. That show is really unique.

I saw on the news yesterday that a white family sent in an essay for a contest to get Hannah Montana tickets, and the mom lied about the girl's father dying in Iraq to get the tickets. The news outlet started an investigation after they called the DOD, and the DOD had no knowledge of the person that was mentioned in the essay. So the news outlet confronts the mom again at a mall somewhere, she tries to avoid them by saying some nonsense mumbo-jumbo to the reporter, and the people who gave her the tickets made her give them back. They ended up giving the tickets to the second-place entry.
all the chicks on these Disney/nick shows are boy crazy so watch out letting your girls watch those shows. I think Raven must have ran afoul of Disney in some way cuz her show just kinda stopped, no push to follow up. (Maybe she wouldn't lose the weight they asked her to lose.) Watch in 10 years all these kids will be in rehab,etc. Working a full time job at 8 aint healthy, especially one where you are pampered. BTW she does get radio play on.....RADIO DISNEY. Just like all their artists do.

The craze is there because white folks haven't had an idol for their kids to worship since Britney, N'sync, Backstreet Boys have all faded away. They were still hoping and hanging on to the hope Britney would still make their little girls and boys still love her but when she got knocked up and started doing drugs the posters came off the walls. Now that her sister is knocked up too those posters are off the wall. We'll see how long this one will last until the next one shows up.
i watch disney but can't sit thru hanah or high school musical...the suite life i watch, kim possible(shut up) i watch, Thats so raven(shut up times 2), can't watch corey in the house. the cartoon i watch and i watch discovery kids that flight show on discovery kids is better than lost.
