Maaaan. You nailed itShit sounded like some random ninja switching stations on the radio, LOL
Don't waste your time or text. Some ppl don't comprehend what it's like to DJ & controll the narrative of any event they spin at. It's all easy to do til they find themselves behind the tablesit is not that simple.
Lmao it did. That's some either hate it or love it shit. I didn't love it but I can kinda see the skill in it.LOL at the ninja rockin back & forth to the beat in his own head
Shit sounded like some random ninja switching stations on the radio, LOL
And no transition whatsoever between each song, LOL
Its like going to the barber shop, asking for a fade, but he can't blend the fade line at all

That Stevie hurts me, Jeff my dude.
The master at work
That's how you rock the crowd.
Flex shit was all over the place.
Sadly, it actually is.it is not that simple.

I can't stand all the talking over records and dropping bombs every 3 seconds instead of letting the songs play shit that he does now but I remember when he used to crush it with the mixes. Now this shit here....... I don't know WTF was going through his head. It was absolute trash
lol I feel ya. And no, we don't have to be expert DJs to know a good DJ. If you came up in hip-hop you're an expert on HIPHOP. Particularly that era he's playing, which is why you knew the lyrics to what was playing and what would've been a better cutoff. Tbe first 2 of 3 joints I was thinking"damn he's fast", but then a few after I realized he's just kinda junky.I'm not a DJ expert by any means, but it just felt like the songs weren't really cohesive
No cuts, no scratches, no smooth blends, no transitions, nothing
I see what he was trying to do.....drop mixing.....okay no problem
But when you abruptly drop a beat & pickup another beat like that, you have to time "the switch over" right
I dunno man, maybe its just my ears but it seemed like he was dropping the previous song 1 second or 2, too early
Example:
He starts off with the oochie wally beat then switches to the Hypnotize beat
I like the location of how he started the Hypnotize beat BUT.....
Listen at where he ended it, to switch over to the LL Cool J Doin it beat
He switched over before biggie was finished spitting the end of the bar
"Hah, sicka than your average, Poppa twist cabbage off instinct"
"Niggas don't think shit stink, pink gators, my detroit players"
"Timbs for my hooliga.....CUT TO THE NEXT SONG
So he's just gonna cut to the next song right in the middle of the verse?
Shouldn't it be "Timbs for my hooligans in Brooklyn .....THEN CUT OVER?
And that's just one example
Again...to me...it seemed like he was a second or 2 early when he dropped the previous beat/song to switch over
On top of that, the song selection might not have been what the younger crowd was into?
Plus the single ladies song seemed kinda out of place?
Money/power/respect ---> Single ladies?
Also when he tried to bring in the Shimmy Shimmy Ya beat, did he mess up in the beginning?
I used to like his stuff but damn when he started all the talking over the records and shit I was like man shut the fuck up! You ain’t the artist! Be quiet MF!Still, I only seen Khalid spin (real DJ) once so Flex on his way out but Khalid is a fat fag to me. Don’t like none of his shit
