There's only two reasons that relationships end. Either you've decided that you can't live with her anymore or she's decided that she can't live with you. Once it's ended the reason why no longer matters.
At that point you have to forget about every bad thing she ever did to you. Then you got to come together and figure out how both of you can live your best lives moving forward. If you can't figure it out yourselves that's when you go to family court.
My first wife and I broke up in 2005. We didn't get divorced until 2010. At that point I got a divorce kit from the bookstore. We filled it out and showed up at the courthouse with the paperwork and a filing fee. A month later I got a letter in the mail saying my divorce was granted.
