Writer's Circle: Should you write OTHER PEOPLE'S ideas for them?

Some people have great ideas but they don't have the capability of bringing that vision to fruition. sometimes, it can be like asking someone who is a good artist or painter to actually build a house. It's just outside the scope of their abilities.

Sometimes I doubt whether I bring my vision of a novel to fruition, that I may need help myself due to A.D.D. and whatever the hell I have going on.

My novel End of a Nightmare has an amazing premise, a very strong and capable protagonist, believable motivation, but I doubt I have the skill to truly can't this story what it needs.

As a writer I really just don't know what I'm doing. I need a mentor to be able to tell me whether I'm doing something right or wrong. Someone to tell me weather my dialogue is passive or direct, and what's the best way to progress from one seeing or area of the story to the next?

I've got the first kill, the second, third and even the big boss at the end of the novel. I've got her trainer (so her skills don't look microwaved like a bad Star Wars movie). I know what I want to do, but I don't know how to fully implement my storytelling through the entirety of the project.

Make sense? Basically, I need a friggin writing mentor

Man, you don't need no mentor. Just fucking write. Make every chapter a short story and it will finish quicker. If you have an end goal then just do it. Best to have a outline though. Once that is done just fill in the rest of it. You have good flow, you show instead of tell which is good. You make it visual. I remember reading some of your stuff when I first got on the site. Just write bro, it will come out alright. I got one finished and I am on the last edit. I might get to publish this summer. I will go the Amazon route.

Much respect, and thanks for the props. I've been struggling lately. I haven't done the outline, so I need to start there I guess.

Let me know when you drop the book on Amazon and I'll buy a copy

Will do bro. There is not formula for this shit. Just write. When the muse let you know its done. Then edit it to make sure it ain't fucked up, then publish that shit. Start on the next. Wash, rinse, and repeat. You love it, don't worry about the money. The money will come. At least, that is how I am looking at it. Man, I have sit on this damn book for 20 years. Frankly, it is a novella. It is still relevant. I have let a few people read it recently. They say it good, so I am going to shoot my shot. Good luck bro.

I've been sitting on mine since 2014. It's a badass story and still relevant.

I just need to lock my ass up in a room everyday after work and get it done
