This is hilarious! People here have no driving sense. Accidents all over. Just saw a few vehicles slipping and sliding.
Not a problem for me I driving a simple SUV with the proper setup.
A Honda Element with all wheel drive.

Blah blah blah we go thru this every time it snows here. They don't treat the streets here so no matter where you from you will have a problem driving here right now. People always wanna make it a south vs north thing who gives a shit. When people from up north come down here in the summer time and can't deal with the heat we laugh at them all the same

I'm from michigan and use to it but I tried to go to the gas station and couldn't because it's so much ice on my street. So like a smart person person I took my ass back home.

My advice to Atlanta is gear up for winters because it seem like this about to be the norm.

same shit here in memphis.

2 inches of snow and cold snap have had the city shut down since last weekend.

they refuse to salt the streets. so that little bit of snow freezes over and becomes ice. school has been out all week and still might be out tmrw.

businesses are either closed or they close early. many major chain restaurants just said fuck it and closed at 7 all weekend and some during the week as well.

If the roads aren’t salted and prepared for the snow that will happen anywhere.

I encounter a lot of people who can't drive for shit on a daily basis, in regular GA weather. You take those same people, who also aren't used to driving in snow and put them on untreated roads covered in snow and ice and people still wonder how people end up on the side of the road.

I've only driven on snow about 3-4 times, all with no problems because I was fortunate to have the common sense to know that driving fast, driving up a hill or making a sharp turn would be pretty difficult to do on ice.
