Compared to the other major sports,Baseball is boring and slow paced.Especially now that fewer bruthas are in it. I'm convinced that the only reason it is supported and called "America's Pastime" is because its the only major sport with CACs in large numbers. Non coincidently, Baseball has the best compensation for the players and the most lax on discipline. Guys fight on the court in Basketball and its major news.CACs have a bench clearing brawl and they are "spirited".Charging the mound to fight isn't considered major either.

There are a few black folks there on the regular, but that product on and off of the field is not marketed towards black folks or minorities in general. What MLB team plays "Thank God I'm a country boy" on a regular basis between innings?
Besides I never liked the fact that they never gave Terry Pendleton a shot at being the manager. Never liked how they held Deion out of a game on Sunday night in which he could have made history....in being the first athlete to play in an NFL game and a MLB game on the same day! Never like how they got rid of all of their black leadoff men. Speed kills! The Marlins had Pierre, the Phillies had Rollins and the Muts had Reyes. Everyone in your division had table setters. Yet they let players like Grissom, Lofton and on down to Jason Heyward and countless others go. They got what they got.
All they cared about was Chipper and pitching. And it was fun to watch their golden boy Franceour turn out to be bust. So what do they do this season? Bring him snd his .250 BA back and cut Bourne.

Yep the Braves have always been kinda racist towards blacks, just like you said they never gave Pendleton a shot at coaching but let Freedie Gonzalez get the job instead. Can't forget about when they traded away Jermaine Dye early in his career either.

I was about to mention Dye..and even the kid Charles Thomas who was a spark plug and yet they traded to Oakland, but the list is too long for me to even type right now.
It took me forever to find out that Dusty Baker was a former Braves player. He should have been offered a job at one point too.
One day....one of my old managers who was a Yankees fan asked me "Futureshock, what is the fastest way for a player to make it to make it to the World Series?"
I replied, "What man, I don't know?"
His answer was, "GET TRADED BY THE ATLANTA BRAVES!"

Lol your manager is right. I'm glad Tim Hudson got him a ring with the Giants. He wasted precious years with the Braves.
I still remember when my Blue Jays beat the Braves in the World Series in 1992. I came down from Toronto to Fulton County Stadium to watch my Blue Jays close the series out in 6. I wore my Blue Jays gear all around Atlanta the next day. That was a good time.
I am also a Padres fan, but they are my lil bro team. My big bro team is the Angels. I hope we make it to the playoffs and beyond this year. #HaloNation #PadresBPimpim
