Australia is nice but my friend in Australia says in many ways, they are the little brother to America. They sometimes copy the policies that America has. In fact, in some things (perhaps a few uses of biometrics), they are actually ahead of America. So if things hit the fan, I could easily see Australia adopting some (perhaps all) of the things you hate in America which prompted your move.

I don't know if its true or else, but I've always heard that blacks can't become citizens of Australia. Not saying right or wrong, but somebody shed some light on Australia. So for that reason, I surely can't go there.
