Well, they especially celebrate the “courage” of those in recovery when the addict is white. When it’s us, it’s seen as a character flaw.
I've messed with chicks that have done a number of things.
Alcohol is underrated as an addiction.
I had a chick that would drink and become a totally different person. She would fuck a whole room full of people if given the chance. I quit fucking her but we still lived together. She would come home with rape stories but she really got drunk, fucked someone, had regret.
Most of the time she would just cry all night. She would also pack up after an argument then move her stuff back in the morning.
She wouldn't even remember half of what she did the next day.

It depends on what she was addicted to because there are a lot of vices out there,sex,money,alcohol,gambling,stealing,attention,weed,controlling...it's just not coke or heroin.I done seen and heard of a little bit of everything.
I knew a female who was addicted to $$$,the bitch went from city to city,town to town hustling everything from fraud to transporting drugs,she had one son and now he's without a mother because in all of her exploits she contracted Hep-c wasn't taking care of herself her organs shut down one by one and she was dead by 31 chasing money.
It would be a concern, but not necessarily a deal breaker.
If she's made peace with her vices and learned how to live life without them then that's fine.
