Would You Date A Blue Collar Brother?

Why doesn't this, " Dimewars " site date a server that will serve their fucking streaming media.

This shit ain't loading, and I ain't wasting my time.

Worked for me. LOL @ that old lady wanting the man that "pops his white collar"

It finally worked.

The Audra person, :smh:, though attractive, is why I hate the net. Everyone should not be given a mic, and a camera, and call themselves so called journalists or bullshit.

None of those women dogged out, " Blue Collared men " Or expressed " I won't date a blue collar man ". Not that I heard.

:dunno:

So . . . what was the point! Looks like she went on the streets and didn't get the response she wanted, and then tried to clean it up in the end.

Now concerning the woman talking about the white collar . . . eluding to perhaps some type of contractor or architect . . . :hmm:

" . . . he BE like, Momma, I put the plumbing in this building, an I BE like, yeah daddy you did . . . "

Does she think she deserves an architect, when this is her grammar????? I've noticed MANY women like this.

Like she said, " . . . I have this vision . . . "

An it will stay as such for her.

:lol::lol::lol::lol: That part killed me. . . I was like ok. . . :smh:

bitches would date a bald eagle if he had money.

got-damn right....but on the flipside i all goes back to the quality of the human being we're talking about here. A lot of females have that "Champagne taste with Beer Money" mentality and thats cool I'm sure there's a simp that'll take care of you but that immediately shows lack of ethic, meaning that's a red flag for ya ass already. I know plenty of ladies that wont even say high to a nigga workin' 2 jobs (or more) but will give all day to the flaugin' ass nigga with the rented car on rented rims at his rented home. Good video though, i feel the only way to clear up a lot of shit between black men and women is if we get it out in the open much like the video did.

its just shows that some women will overlook other relationship examples thats around them because they wanna feel whats deserved.... not whats ultimaley right. Its funny because the one in the corp. job setting (light skinned syndrome) seems VERY THIRSTY if you catch my drift

What is the big deal about "blue collar"? As long as a man or woman work and get their money honestly i don't give a shit! Treats me right, takes care of his business and we are good.

Which is why our men are leaving us and going to other races (i think)! Too much stupid pressures! Blue collar, white collar, no collar...who gives a fuck!:angry::angry:

MTL say it again so the people in the back can hear yuh sis....all these titles. I mean what ever happened to just feeling a vibe with someone, and allowing that vibe to take you and that someone where its meant to go.

Finally I'm hearing some common sense from some of the ladies here.

Does it really matter whether a man is a blue collar worker or not? If he treats you right and you both get on fine then whats the issue here.

Wow, that Audra really did her research! It is nice to see that she assumes that a sample of THREE black women are representative of ALL BLACK WOMEN :hmm:

Was it that I stopped listening or was each person's view was essentially:

1) I do not mind dating a blue collar brother, or may have done it when I was younger . . .

2) Now that I am old/more advanced in my career, I have to meet a man who is on my level and can now TAKE CARE OF ME . . .

None of the women seemed to mention any, "Let's work to bring each other up", or, "We both can contribute", or "What he may not have in salary, he may have in other talents, skills . . ."

I don't think the blue collar vs white collar is a BIG issue. The fact is that most black men (and women just as the U.S.) are blue collar. Black women have been with blue collar men for the longest.....now they may lust for a white collar men...but that's life.

There is a difference between a blue collar man that has his shit together ie a Plumber that owns his own business.
And the blue collar man that is a knucklehead i.e. the janitor that is "always between jobs" with a hardluck story.

Women are attracted to ambition....regardless of your profession or job.

I was about to ask the same question. As long as the brother is making his money honestly what is the big deal. The bottom line is he's getting PAID!

Meaning he respects higher learning, he doesn't believe that brawn is better than brains and can still be refined and worldly.

Holy fuck! You guys want to change him! Wow! The whole fucking country revolves around blue collar activities. A truck mechanic can make more than 100k easily. A ship mechanic, plane mechanic, car mechanic.

Femme I am actually disappointed in your response. But if you are being yourself then I can't be mad. I don't want to be more refined. I am starting to realize that life is short and I need to enjoy where I am at and make the best of every moment. Some of the happiest times of my life was when I lived in the hood with some of my friends in college and we were all broke and just enjoying the little we had. Over the years the more money I had the less I was enjoying my life and now that I am broke again and going through relationship problems I realized that I spent way too much time trying to make money and trying to create a better future for the family (ie more refined and worldly things) and not counting my blessings. I shall go back and seek out the blue collar activities I used to love and do some of them.

Femme you'd be surprised how cultured a lot of the blue collar folks I have come across over the years are. I have come across so many people who just didn't want to be in the office anymore and love being a blue collar worker. Just wanted to do things with their hands. Create things. Doing things where the result is appreciated immediately and is not a subjective thing.

I am a blue collar at heart.

I'm not trying to change a man. That is the type of man I'm attracted to whether he is a blue collar worker or not. My father was a blue collar worker and while he lacked alot of refinement in some respects, he was always seeking to do better. And he valued education to no end. He was proactive and was always interested in learning things be it politics, music, the arts, etc.
