In the other thread about reparations, I wanted to mention that I would relocate to Africa if I was going to receive millions of dollars in reparations to give up my USA citizenship. I don't know about our own country, but I would definitely move to Ethiopia (Ethiopian women are beautiful) or Nigeria or Kenya if I had millions of dollars. The majority thinks of us as animals anyway. They could kill two birds with one stone. If the Native Americans haven't gotten their country back, then what chance do we have here as a whole.

Am against a black American being president of an African country? Of course not. Am I
against black Americans forming a government in any African country? Absolutely not.
But they must canvas for and get votes among all the people, and if they win, then they
win. The special case of black people from the diaspora is that they would and should
get instant citizenship, something that takes up to 15 years in countries that were former
English colonies. I believe that any black person from the diaspora who ask for it, should
get full citizenship on the spot, including all the priviledges that come with it. That way,
such a person would get whatever benefits are due to the natives immediately

Many Native Africans in the west (not sure of other places) have opened the door for AA to leave America and come join them over in Africa; and "build". Some have already relocated. But most of those had the means to do so.

I grew up in both cultures with both parents present and know them both well. If you knew your history you would know that both Africa and the Americas have been conquered and colonized by the Europeans. They colonized by dividing us and putting us against each other. A white man named the continent of Africa...Africa, the entire continent used to be called Ethiopia. You have a divided and conquered mentality.

This isn't a Black American vs. African thing, this is about finally breaking down the barriers set up by the Europeans and working together. Is ALL Nigeria like that? I know someone living in the USA from Nigeria and she never described it like you did. Actually, she plans to move back. Every developing country has its problems, but you have to look at the opportunity for growth. China is investing in Africa for a reason. I also know someone who has a family member living in Nigeria and this person did not describe Nigeria as you did. We don't need a new country, we have one here: the USA. OUR labor built this country. We have a right to be here and can do well here if we stop pulling each other down and realize that we can rise TOGETHER.

Now if Africa is your interest, research the various regions. Relocate if you like and integrate yourself into that society. If you do that Africa will welcome you with open arms. On the other hand, if you go over there thinking you're the next great hope of Africa, that they've been waiting for someone like you, you'll get laughed right off the continent.

I actually think this is a good idea and I'm big on Pan-Africanism. The biggest difference between Liberia and Sierra Leone being formed in the 19th century compared to now is that individual blacks all across the globe are actually wealthy. Dr. Dre single handedly is about to become the first rap billionaire.

A new country could be formed by wealthy black victims of the Atlantic slave trade from all across the world. We have so many underground black leaders in the U.S that could help create a government. The only situation I would be afraid of is building an army and having protection.

China and other countries are taking over Africa and investing in infrastructure...I would love a chance for Black people from across the globe to go back and create a Dubai like city in Africa and with our own black economy and companies. Our own education and our own commerce. We'll never get an opportunity like that with the already established white supremacist system in this country. We'll forever be at the bottom of the totem pole as a race in America.

Us Blacks need to know one thing it will never happen whites and blacks wont let it happen.

We got to get a piece of this land to call our own. That is what I am working on. Others should be like me. What ever state,city, or community we live in we should be trying to own it. Buy, black, and organize. A chance to build our own reality or make the truth reappear.
