Director, Relationship Marketing - Sacramento Monarchs/Sacramento Kings (Sacramento, CA)


SUMMARY: The director of relationship marketing is focused on customer engagement strategies that will maximize the lifetime value of each individual Maloof Sports & Entertainment customer relationship. The position is responsible for the integration of relationship marketing throughout the organization's business team, including the implementation and utilization of a relationship marketing platform that drives revenue growth through new sales and retention (ie, ticket sales, strategic alliances, merchandise, food & beverage, etc).
RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Lead the organization’s direct marketing, database management, and Customer Relationship Management services

? Work closely with management team in the development and execution of a CRM strategy and planning for customer retention and loyalty

? Lead applicable department staff

? Maximize revenue through new sales opportunities and customer retention

? Implement e-marketing campaigns designed for customer sales acquisition and retention as well as any viral marketing campaigns

? Develop internet marketing campaigns for data capture and on-line revenue generation

? Track effectiveness of direct mail, print, on air, website and e-mail marketing campaigns using ROI metrics

? Create and execute surveys in or to direct research and analysis of customer profiles, mailings, sales transactions, customer behaviors and customer service

? Provide customer profiling, data correlation and sales/market trends analysis

? Collection of data, data mining, list segmentation and distribution

? Create processes which lead to the growth of customer database, including internal acquisition of data profiles as well as obtaining appropriate external lists

? Analyze new technical opportunities to enhance communication and service to fans and customers

? Other duties and projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

? Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and four years of related experience in database marketing

? Minimum of four years experience generating e-commerce & database marketing revenues

? Proven ability to lead, train and coach a successful team

? Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook. In addition, experience with CRM software preferred

? Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization

? Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

? Must possess strong communication, prioritization, and organizational skills

? Ability to multi-task

? Must have excellent problem-solving skills

? Customer service oriented; ability to cater to customers

? Outstanding systems expertise and technical Internet knowledge

? Capable of working extended hours such as nights, weekends, and overtime as necessary
